I'm reopening this topic (Mass knows, we discussed it via PM) because I've been given info that actually proves the OP correct in that Jill is indeed French Japanese. I got the images from my GF's collection, but original credit goes to News Bot of Project Umbrella.

Here's the original Japanese press release, if someone here can translate it would be great.

I honestly think none of that is in the slightest bit relevant. I'm sure early stages of development they came up with all sorts of useless information they thought they could work off of.

It's not relevant, sure, but all this thread was about to begin with was if Jill was half Japanese or not. Apparently she is.

On that note, have we had an official bio of her after the release of the first game? Because that would erase all that concept stuff completely from the canon.
