Compared to CVX? That game came out years after and on a different, more advanced console. Bad comparison.

Also the pre-rendered backgrounds look way better than in RE2 in my opinion. Just the overall graphics seem great to me.

Even more so impressive is RE3 SourceNext edition, the updated texture resolution on the pre-renders and the upscaled CG cutscenes running at 30FPS will blow your mind.
Getting a hold of this edition is like trying to find the holy grail though and obtaining a copy from someone will set you back a great deal of cash.

From what I've heard, it isn't just copies of the E.T. game, but a large assortment of different Atari games, console parts, and computer parts from clearing out their Texas manufacturing plant. There's a company that wants to search the landfill for the lost stock.
