What is your favorite Resident evil music? (from any OST)

So what is it?and why? I remember the old soundtracks from the PSone games, especially the originals, they just had this...creepy music,I dunno, I cant explain it. In REmake, the music from neptunes tank is just haunting, something that reminds me of the eeireness and artificial creations of the umbrella corporation. Also, the track, ´prologue´ from RE0 is just brilliant. To me, it defines what RE should be. Something deep, horrific, but real. Survival horror. Anyway, what do you guys think?what are your favorites and why?

Thanatos-R theme from outbreak has always been my favorite. This music made the whole boss battle more enjoyable and I still consider it one of the best boss themes in RE.

I also love Alexia's 1st transformation theme, I thought it was very well orchestrated. Another would be Moment of Relief. I always get a tranquil feeling every time I hear it.

Outbreak, imo, has the best soundtrack.

With Extermination being the best track.

one of the most chilling, that made me afraid of the bedrooms in RE1

all time favourite save theme

Lastly one of the most fearful OST's in all the games has that dark presence to it.

I like all mercenaries theme in RE 4.Too bad RE 5 did not have such variety though i loved the only soundtrack of the mercenaries.

I like how you are the same as me, you love RE2 and CV.
CV has the same nostalgia for me as RE2 does.
I can remember the video of trailer on a demo disk for CV once.
Scared the shit out of me when it showed the zombie doctor devouring a dead victims face.

CV, RE2 and REmake are indeed my favorite games and I like the RE2 and CV soundtracks the most. REmake had excellent atmospheric tracks, but not something that I like to listen to when I'm not playing the game.

And I always consider CV the sequel of RE2. They are more alike than RE2 and 3 are IMO.

Basically my favourites also, but add RE0 and survivor to mix
Yeah CV recycled a lot of RE2 that's why it had that sequel feel to it.
Yeah where originally going to put Leon in it so it was supposed to be Leon and Claire once again.
Most of the OST is just remade versions of RE2's OST and if I dont know if you noticed but they have also used
some of the background renders they had left over form RE1.5
Of coarse they remade them but you can still notice them.
The hallways in the training facility, not the first ones but the ones when you come out the elevator.
That hallway is the same as the one in the RE1.5 videos with the shutter as well.
You use the indigo card on the shutter.
Another one is also the room where the metal detectors are, well the very last room (office) where the typewriter is and the computer where you contact Leon,
that is the same room as one that was in 1.5 as well.
CV also uses RE2 menu movement sounds etc.

All in all CV had the RE2 feel and more, I loved every minute of the game and still do to this day

mine is probably the police station and the ending credits for RE1. i know not very original but there is a reason everyone likes them
