Ssplain took the words from my mouth. Or keyboard, whatever. I think Resident Evil: Biohazard would be the best as it would fit both the Japanese and every other market as they wouldn't have to change it that much.

The Resident Evil is also plausible, considering how many movies are adding or taking away "the" to and from the names.

Biohazard can't be used because of the band having a copyright on it (how they managed to get that copyright is beyond me since "biohazard" is a word in common usage) and none of those names even make sense. The Resident Evil is probably the worst one because there isn't any single object called a "resident evil" in the series.

A reboot would, in all likelihood, be called just Resident Evil in much the same way as the recent Mortal Kombat reboot was titled.

Yeah, but it's stupid how they throw in the word "The" or take it out in a franchise and call it a reboot.

Btw. The name was also copyrighted to a DOS game, though that one's highly irrelevant on today's market.

It's not a thing that's reserved only for reboots, either. The Final Destination and Fast and Furious were both sequels yet they still did it, which is even more retarded. Especially when the movies that followed those went back to having a number in the title.

Franchise names with permanent subtitles can get messy when it comes to sequels, though. Resident Evil: Biohazard 6: The Chinese Golem Strikes Again. There should be a law disallowing more than one colon in a title.

Just won a copy of the Director's Cut for Resident Evil 1 for $8. I have only beat "Wiimake" so I suppose I will give this a go in time. Will be a nice addition to my new found collection.

I was mostly thinking that the first game could have the subtitle. Then again, it wouldn't make sense to have the second reboot be named just Resident Evil 2 so you do have a point.

Nice. Where'd you win it from?

Snagged it on eBay. Case and manual are in great condition and the game itself plays like new according to the owner. He has pictures that prove the condition of the case and manual. The disc itself looks good, but you can never truly tell until you put it in and play.

yes its is the day! ive got myself some revelations ! stunned with the graphics (literally cs its a port!) wonderful game, reminds me of old times. But one thing can be said 4 sure, no matter how they try the will never overdo what Mikami had created! im on the 2 chapter now and it feels just like RE Remake (RE 1) !

I just got Silent Hill 2 and 3 for PS2, I haven't played SH3 yet, on any version, but SH2 is much better on PS2

I beat RE Survivor today. I had a pretty good, albeit short, time with it. It only took 1:44:36 and I was not exactly in a hurry. The game was good though and I enjoyed the story behind Sheena Island. The voice acting was extremely dreadful, but it did not ruin the game.

Now I am debating if I want to play Code Veronica next (which is next in the series) or Director's Cut which arrives tomorrow (which I have never played)...

The original RE isn't all that long, it took me only a few hours on my first run. Code: Veronica, on the other hand, could be pretty long when playing it the first time. Did you already start on one of them?

I would play CV., It is one of the best games in the series, I think

Is it hte analog edition of the directors cut?

I actually started CVX last night! I forgot how good it is. I have not played it in about 8 years.

This copy of RE Directors Cut does support analog! I normally prefer the D-pad in older games, but I hear the controls in this game are awful.

The controls aren't any different compared to RE2 and 3, at least not in my experience. Who on earth says they're awful?

As much as I love DC Comics, I avoid that game.

I was reading random reviews and in a few of them the reviewers complained about the controls. If they are the same as 2 and 3 you are right, I wouldn't see anything to complain about. I will see for myself here soon!

I do not play DCU, but I have put many many hours into Champions Online. I loved every bit of it. I even ran into many RE characters in game :p

@Vandal its a pretty fun game and now that its free to play there no reaaon not to try it and besides i need sumone to quest with

I never understood MMO's. Why is it that Lex can be defeated multiple times by different people? Why do you constantly grind your stats? If I'm to grind, I need a reason.

leveling up aint really that bad once u get the hang of the day i started playing yestday and i been playing all together about 16 hours and im around level 15 i dont rember im tired
and they make it that u can beat this same guys over so u dont miss out + events and to make your own heros i cant find the screenshot folder or i would show u my guys
