Ikr, every time he comes near me while I'm playing, I'm having like a PTSD reaction. dammit, I ain't proud of that.

I did not like Dead Aim one bit. It was too short first of all, my first time playing I beat it in an hour.

Zero drags a bit, but my least favorites would be the Outbreak games. Very hard and they closed the servers for online play, which sucks, because I never played games online in those days. Not that I dislike the Outbreak games, but Survivor I actually enjoy, and the others like Dead Aim, I like as well.

I don't have one.

Main series: RE3 (The games not bad at all its just that thats the one that wasnt the best)

Guess I shouldn't really be saying this, but somehow I'm wagering you never even picked it up, rather, you only looked online at what people generally say about the game. I'm only saying this because some of us have been playing Gameboy color before you were born.

Demo? There was a demo of this game? I find it hard to believe.

I love games older then me, I didnt like how in Gaiden its an arcade shooter, You get ammo for guns you dont even have, and there was no voice acting (Then again there isnt much voice acting in any game boy game so I guess that's not a legit reason to not like it)

You make it sound like you're superior than the kids who play CoD just because you play old games. Just saying...

Gaiden an arcade shooter? It was more like a horror rpg. Survivor is more on the arcade shooter side.

Also getting ammo for guns you don't even have is actually more realistic than only finding ammo for guns you just found.

If you're going to leave because you were so butt hurt by a post that had no intention for offense, this forum will only improve with your absence. I believe Thom was only pointing out a flaw in your pride so you would learn not to come off as an amazing douche in other situations; on the forums or in real life. Alternatively, if this is just some angsty period you're going through, don't bring it to the forums.

Yeah, Resident Evil 0 stands out amongst the original Resident Evil games, it's one of my top.

Zero would have been a lot better if the inventory management wasn't this terrible. I really like the game, but it's not that memorable to me.

My least favorite Resident Evil game was Resident Evil 4. I liked it as a game, but I prefer the old style. I also wasn't a big fan of Code: Veronica.

Kris you got hurt with one of my reply's one time because you said something and I corrected the information you got wrong and gave my input, you do take comments a little to heart.
Nobody is forcing or alienating you within the forums, yes we all are a bit opinionated but then again that's kind of what forums are like.
I have had arguments with members (more like debates but you know what I mean) and have people disagreeing with me before but I never decided to leave because at the end of the day we are not hating on each other or being nasty.

Some of the things you said did make you sound a little pretentious like you acted just because you don't like new games that it makes you better than others your age.
You did say a lot silly things like saying Gaiden was arcade . Arcade is like FPS rail shooter, this game was more like an RPG style game as Mass pointed out.
This information is kind of pointing in the direction that you have just researched the game and did not give it a try.
You also state that most GBC games, plus Gaiden had no voice acting, of coarse they never !
Do you know what capacity the cartridges used to hold ? They couldn't even support polyphonic sound yet, hence the 8-bit music.
The hardware back then wasn't as advance as todays and GBC was basically just like a slightly better NES.
To be fair this is the kind of stuff your so called "new kids" always say and presume, they also compare older gaming to today's standards, doesn't work like that I'm afraid.


There wasn't a demo for this game, you didn't get demo cartridges for the GBC or at least a don't think you did, I can say I never seen demo's for the GBC anyway. (feel free to correct me guys)
Also if there was one guy that would know about a demo it would be Mass, hell I'm betting even if it was a high price Mass would jump at the opportunity to own a rare demo for this game
The game was really good and gets to much bad press, it was a nice variation and very much enjoyed it, plus at the time we didn't have PSP's and such so we couldn't play any of the series on the go, this was the only means you could play Resident Evil while out of the house.
Other means of craving that zombies fetish was go to arcades and play House of the Dead
I suppose your quite young and can see how it might not appeal to your taste, it's one of they things that you would need to have been in that time period to understand, but your entitled to your opinion man
