| I've noticed a trend growing lately in video games. It seems like just about every beloved PS2 franchise is getting "HD re-releases". Honestly I really like this trend because it allows newcomers to get exposed to these older titles and hardcore fans a chance to relive their favorite games. How do you guys feel about this ever growing trend? |

| If I still have a hard copy of a game that works, I don't typically bother with HD "remakes". Once I get that 320 gb HDD I bought into my PS3, that might change. But until then my PS2 copy of CVX, for example, works perfectly fine. If Sony ever released SOCOM and SOCOM II, I might consider getting them because night levels are really hard to see without night vision (which only works in first person view), but that's about it. |

| As the PS3s don't have the backwards combatibility anymore it's great you cn still get and play these games on your current console. As GL said, I wouldn't go getting a HD port of a game I already have either. I won't buy RE4 HD because I already have the PS2 version but I'm getting CVX HD as I don't have the game yet. I'm also interested in the Silent Hill HD Collection. |

| Well I sold every last one of my PS2 games when I sold my PS2 so that's why I want them both. |

| Final Fantasy X will be getting a HD-remake too . X is my favorite FF, but I would've prefered a FFVII, VIII or IX remake. FFX still looks pretty good. |

It will? Huh. Hadn't heard of that one. I agree FFVII should get a remake. It deserves it! |

| I don't think I'm going to buy it. I don't really care about graphics, and if I want to play it, I can always use my PS2. |

| Still, I would totally buy a remake of FFVII. Not an HD port but a complete remake. |

| Yeah, I would too. But that's because it's a ps1 game. I don't think there is any need to remake FFX. That game still looks pretty good. I would also want VIII and IX. |

| I think I'll end up getting the Final Fantasy X HD remake too. I absolutely LOVED that game back on PS2. I could imagine it looking really crisp in HD. To be honest I like it more than VII (which is ridiculously overrated if you ask me). |

| FFVII is the best game in the series, at least in my opinion. FFVI is a close second. |

| And the Devil May Cry trilogy too.
And there are also rumors that the FFX remake is a full remake with the FFXIII engine. |

Wow. That would... still not make me buy the game. Sounds good, anyway. |

| No, it's just that my ex used to play it so much. Pretty much saw everything. Great game but it's just not my cup of tea.
Btw. I can't believe people are complaining on the gameplay, graphics AND story of GTA3 in the comments! I mean, I know this is YouTube but God damn, show some respect! |

| FFX is one of my favorite games of all time and although FF7 was my first FF game, FFX made me love the series. Too bad X-2 sucked ass. The ending of X still makes me sad. So for me it's an instant buy. But I'm not looking forward to dodge 200 lightning bolts, complete the chocobo race with 0:00 seconds left and play the stupid butterfly catching game again. I also heard that they'll improve blitzball (which I already liked).
And for GTA3: A lot of people on youtube are little kids that complain. Personally, I never really liked GTA. It bored me really soon. San Andreas was the only one that I've finished and it was decent. I can see why people like it though.

| For GTA3 I must say that it did a really good job being the first 3D style GTA. |
