| Okay, My views have changed quite a bit since I used to like these films. Now the films are "okay" for me, but I now like the first one as my favorite. I really love the little twist they added where that guy (i forgot his name, it's probably someothing like bruce or spence or something lol) and he turned out to be the bad guy at the end. I also love the way they did that whole flashback scene and his hand twitches a bit when the glass shatters. I always get chills when watching that. |

| Has to be Resident Evil for me. The scene with the lasers is forever ingrained into my mind. I liked that Alice didn't have super powers in that one. Plus, there was the creepy hologram girl.
I like Apocalypse too. Alice wasn't overpowered and Jill was in it. Also, there was the cool black guy and don't forget Nemesis!
I enjoy the newer ones too but they're more of a guilty pleasure.
I haven't watched any of the animated ones. I probably should. For those who have: Are the animated ones better? |

I think they're just fine. Way more enjoyable than the later live action ones, at least. The CG movies are canon with the games' story and take place in between some of the games. I would recommend playing through at least until RE4 before watching them, since Degeneration takes place before RE5 and Damnation before RE6. Degeneration has a minor scene that carries on into RE5, while Damnation is more like a standalone story taking place between 5 and 6. 4D-Executer is also a standalone film taking place during RE2/3, and can be found on YouTube since it was never release in home video format. |

| My favorite are Resident Evil (live action), which is so iconic that it influenced the actual games!. And Resident Evil: Extinction. Zombies plus The Road Warrior equals awesomeness.
As for the CG ones, Damnation was pretty good. Degeneration felt like an extended cutscene. |
