| REmake for me, with CVX a close second. I've played RE3 so much that I know exactly where and when Nemesis will appear, so the fear of being stalked really isn't present for me anymore. |

| After just finishing RE3, for my first time since around 2000, I have decided that it is no longer my scariest game in the series. I would have to give that award to REmake. I still have to give props to 3 though. I noticed a lot more during this play through now that I am more knowledgeable on the series. The scene where you fight Nemesis for the last time is very well done. It looks like a warzone with all of the dead Tyrants and soldiers lying around. |

| REmake. Probably the only one that I found scary at times during my first run. |

| I was never scared by Resident Evil at any point in my life.
Actually that's a lie, there is one part that made me scared. It was my first time playing Nemesis and I was headed back down from the STARS room and I heard a glass break and the music started to get tense. I sat there for a good 5 minutes just to be scared shitless by a wild nemesis hopping through the window.
But even that, it's a jump scare. RE is never scary because it uses cheap jump scares, unlike other games. |

| I felt uneasy when playing RE3 the most when I was younger and didn't know the game inside out. That theme "Feel the Tense" when Nemesis is around always made me want to not go out of the save room or wherever was safe. When I was a kid, I was kind of afraid of the first zombie in RE1, I think. I didn't know you needn't watch the cinematic, and I shat my pants the first time I saw it. I can't remember for the life of me how old I was. I would guess 10 or 11. |

| ^Save rooms aren't safe in RE3 either, as long as you can loose your sight of the door. I did this terrible mistake once and Nemesis scared the crap out of me by crashing into the room. |

| I didn't know that. I am throwing all the save rooms in my mind now thinking where could he crash basing on the locations where he appears. Maybe in the Dark Room? Or the save room in Clock Tower, perhaps? Interesting. |

| I think it was in the clocktower. Definitely not the dark room. I only remember thinking that finally I was safe, moving along and hearing the terrible door crash behind me. Totally didn't expect that. |

| This might be a bit off topic, but the only game that really makes me shit bricks is Silent Hill... |

| I just finished up RE3 and he did not break into the save room. However, he did shake the whole building and the save music instantly stops! It made me a little nervous, but he never actually entered. He does end up busting through the windows right outside of the save room though. |

| When I was a kid, Nemesis scared me the most.
Nowadays, the REmake gives me creepy vibes to it. |

Definitely. It was in the clock tower, I swore that I'll never forget. It happened to me one time when I was running at the save room I didn't know Nemesis was chasing me. Then I just realized that he was at the back walking straight at me. I don't have the idea cause the music usually change when Nemesis starting to appear. But that time the background music didn't change. I'm just thankful he didn't hit me. That was really a heart pounding moment for me. - hunter destroyer wrote:

Eh? I believe this belongs to the thread of Silent Hill. - SuperMasterGamer wrote:

Nowadays, the REmake gives me creepy vibes to it. I felt the same way when I was young. I agreed, when I first played REmake it scares the hell out of me. |
