The hardest RE game puzzle-wise

I'd definitely have to say Resident Evil 3.

I think there's already a topic for this. I'm trying to find it.

RE3 had the water puzzle which was hands down the hardest puzzle in the whole RE series. I thought RE0 had the easiest puzzles but was still the hardest RE game for me.

That puzzle alone is why I said RE3 haha. That gear puzzle in the park is kinda difficult too.

Not really. All you have to do is put the black gears on top and the white gears on the bottom. It's easy, in fact.

I guess RE3 since I had to use a guide for that last puzzle. I doubt it's even humanly possible to solve it without help.

I think the developers intended to make people figure it w/o the guide.

I figured it out. After about an hour or six.

The puzzle Ashley has to do in RE4 is incredibly hard too if you don't know what you're doing.

Ashley puzzle is very very easy IMO.

I despise slider puzzles. Are there any slider puzzles in RE0? I'm considering about obtaining it. Just give me a quick rundown on the difficulty, action and puzzle-wise.

RE0 is probably the easiest puzzle-wise but by far the hardest action-wise. The supplies (especially healing items) are very scarce and there are some annoying and dangerous new enemies. On top of that you have to take care of two characters and there is no item box. It's definitely the hardest RE game for me, but it's very awesome and you should play it. Advice: Use molotov cocktails against the Leech zombies.

I enjoy a challenge. Do I have to make the molotov cocktails, or are they simply found?

You have to combine empty bottles with gasoline. Both items can be found. They are not too common so conserve them and only use them against leech zombies. It's by far the easiest way to defeat those.

Indeed, and there seems to be a reasonable amount of them.

By the way, is Rebecca as capable as causing damage as Billy is? Does her handgun do just as much damage?

I don't know. I always like Billy's handgun better, but I don't know why.

After reading a weapon FAQ... I now want this game. Grenade Launcher, anyone? Naw, but the story seems good. Billy's Handgun appears to do more damage.

Because The Knife has infinite ammo. I'm a man for infinite things. I'd like an infinite Grenade Launcher in an RE game. That'd be hella fun.

You can use infinite ammo with all weapons so with the grenade launcher too I think.

How would we unlock it? It cannot be upgraded. And we already had a time limit for the Rocket Launcher.

Maybe not then, I don't remember. In RE0 you can get unlimited for all weapons including the GL.

the puzzle in re4 ashley had to do. I hate that one.

the water sample puzzle in resi 3 was the hardest so far but there were a few in cv that were hard
