The video game industry is a business and the point of that business is money. Maybe there was a time when companies like Capcom and Sony actually cared about the fans of their games, but as evidenced by the trend of "casualizing" (i.e., butchering) games to appeal to "wider audiences" rather than focusing on what the hardcore fans want, that time is long gone.

The remake for RE2 is less than likely. It hasn't even been stated in any official media. Just implied and rumored.

And even then they would reuse cutscenes from DC, not that I'm complaining or anything. That would actually be for the better.

I think a graphical upgrade to RE2 would be just fine really. I doubt it would be that hard for them, since they could really just use all of the environments, graphics, and, like I said, cutscenes from DC. It would probably take a year to develop.

DC actually looks like a 360/PS3 game. Especially the pre-rendered stuff.

ok yea i kno that wikipedia is a unreliable site but it says here that the game designer also a producer says that capcom wants a complete remake of RE2. then if that happens 4 sure we are going to see a remake of RE3. i mean i think its legit beacuse what else are they going to do? you can tell how in RE ORC they are running out of ideas so they are going back to good ol raccoon city.

They can't be running out of ideas THAT bad considering RE6 is in the works, we are getting Revelations soon enough and ORC gives us a completely new storyline.

Right now we are getting more RE games than we've had in a while. While a remake of RE2 would be cool, it's unlikely. I'll have to check those sources given on the site when I have time. Maybe tomorrow.

What a joke. We will see a remake of RE2 just after the Final Fantasy VII remake hits shelves.

Oh thank god I'm not the only one who thought Jill looks weird now. I hope they redo her face in any newer REs to match her face in REmake/RE5

Her face wasn't perfect in RER,but I liked it(and her voice is fine - not as good as Patricia Ja Lee,but Michelle Ruff did a fine job).The ORC ingame face was really bad.
Of course her face was best in RE remake,RE5 and REUC.
BTW Jill looks nothing like Lara - Lara's nose is smaller;her lips and eyes are bigger and the hairstyle is different - Jill has a low ponytail;Lara has a high.Not every brunette with a ponytail is Lara Croft you know.

She was cute in RER, but I think I'll always like Julia Voth's face in the REmake. That pretty much is Jill Valentine. Whoever they used in RER is good though. IDK which direction they'll take it, but Jill's next main game will provide us with whatever face will be hers from now on. Clearly Capcom is making a bunch of changes, as far as appearance and Voices goes, hopefully it's all good. DC Douglas was a mistake, but that was corrected with a couple of RPG's.

I agree shes really good looking in Revelations, especially on first pic she looks awesome.
