Not really, if there is a lack of space, there would be weapons unloaded. So loading weapons with ammo would free up space. But conflict does arise when u r fully loaded and still ammo is available without space. But that seldom happens(may be discard unnecessary herbs or life savers). And to upgrade your case also provides space.
