Will this be included in the Wii port?

In the Resident Evil Remake the devices in which you have to put the MO discs (to release the door to the prison cell) are actually slightly modified GameCube consoles.

I presume in the Wii port of the Resident Evil 1 Remake the modified game cube consoles will not be present?

I never thought about that. I suspect they'll change them to Wiis.

It wasn't until two years after I got the game I realized those were GCs...

You never know, maybe they will pay homage to the little cubes by keeping them there...wii's just wouldn't work....oddly shaped and all that lol.

You can put a disc in it. I think that would be all that matters.

As long as you can put disc in it I think that is all we really need, although I think the GC's look better than a Wii would, regardless of color change or anything, also with the Wii standing up like it does...and would it include the Wii stand, or would the top parts be open for the GC controller and memory card slots to be seen?

I think the Wii would make it a bit more noticeable. The thing about the GCs was that you could play through and not realize what they were. The Wii would probably end up taking you out of the experience.
