There's some good hip hop out there, you just have to look for it. And the bands that are labeled today as hardcore aren't really hardcore.

I hate to burst your bubble, but i'm a hardcore hip hop fan. but i hate the crap that's out now. i'm also a fan of classic rock, r&b, jazz. i can get into just about any genre of music.

No bubble has been burst, my good man. You're entitled to like what you do, just as I am! I too can get into practically anything, there's just an awful lot of music out there nowadays that is...upsetting.

I'll listen to most genres except country. I actually started out as strictly rap, hip-hop, and r&b when I was younger. As I got in my teens, I began listening to rock and it became my favorite over the years. That was until I started listening to trance and hard trance last year. Now it's my all-time favorite genre. I highly agree that the music of today is filled with complete shit. I don't even listen to today's music.

I don't think I've listened to anything in the charts for years. People are always bragging on about how awesome such and such a tune is, and I'm like "yeah well Machinae Supremacy's new single is awesome" and they look at me like I'm mental.

I am highly agree to this. Call me rude or mean but listening to Emo's and Goth's Music makes me wanna kill myself. Fuck those Music Genre's today. They made me stressed more and feel sick.
