Resident Evil 6 Should be about Alice

anyone think the same...maybe get the old zombies we all know back ???

Omg no. If they did that I'd give up the series. Never thought anything could make me give it up....but that would.

well it seems now were playing through the old charicters e.g leon 4 chris 5 ...who next ?? Maybe sherry all grown up ??

It seems to me that Capcom is already taking an existing character down the Alice route (but I won't say who in case you haven't played RE5).

But, with that said, I still wouldn't mind Alice popping her head up in a future game.

well ive completed RE5 and jill is the only one that stands out to be a alice kind of figure.

I think it might be cool if you were able to use that telekineses type ability Alice has against zombies. Kind of like Bioshock. If one is coming towards you just throw it through the air. Although, that would make it even more of an action game than RE5.

I don't think any character is going down the Alice route. As for characters to use: Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire, Ada, Rebecca, Billy, Wesker, Hunk, Barry, etc...

The games are one canon and the movies are in a totally different universe. They shouldn't be mixed unless attempting to create V-Jolt Maximum Formula with Conditioner.

At least right now I can pretend the movies don't even exist. If they infected the game series that would be it for me.

well RE mixed with the movie e.g carlos olivera , jill valentine , Clair is all in the movie why cant we put a charicter from the movie in the game.

I would keep movies away from the games

@Wesker: If I liked the movies then I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it. But the movies are too far from being canon with the game series. The movies should have the characters in them. But they really didn't for the most part and the representations that they did have were awful. The game series is the base...the origin. It's ok for it to spread elsewhere, but it's not ok for something foreign to spread into it. That's just my opinion and of course it's up for debate.

Ah, okay. Yeah, that would indeed be Jill I'm referring to. Ever since RE3, I'd suspected that her T-virus infection and subsequent curing had allowed her body to develop an immunity toward it, which revelations in RE5 proved to be mostly correct (her only outward mutation was mentioned as having something to do with hair follicles, which I'm thinking is the reason she's blonde now). The agility and melee capabilities she displayed in her performance against Chris and Sheva show clear viral enhancement. Jill is a naturally gifted soldier, no doubt, but no amount of training can make her that good on her own.

Now all she needs to become an Alice character it some sort of telekinetic powers.

I'm pretty sure that red thing on her chest is the reason for her agility in RE 5. Whatever it was made her controllable and Wesker-like.

Yes, most of the movie versions were not very good, I did think that the Nicholai in the movie was cool, but completely different from Nicholai Ginovaef fromt the games, and it is alot different making the transition from games to movies versus movies to games....they shouldn't do it, and if they did for some reason decide to put Alice, I would hope that she didn't have such a significant role, as this is a thought I have had for Michelle Rodriguez's character Rain as well...

RE1 = Jill and Chris
RE2 = Claire and Leon
RE3 = Jill
RE4 = Leon
RE5 = Chris and Sheva
RE6 = Leon

See the pattern? Thats what I think...

I don't really see much of a pattern, other than that they just avoid using the same character twice in a row.

I would however think that they would avoid using Leon again so soon, I would like them to use the characters that have been forgotten about, like Barry, Rebecca, Billy, Carlos, etc.

Resident, according to your pattern RE 6 should be Claire, not Leon.

Yeah that is what I was thinking too, she is the only real reacurring one that should logically come up next.

And one of the only girl characters who can actually dish out some pain. And if looks could kill...let's just say that the president would have never needed that nuke.

i really wouldn't like it if they used alice as a character because i dont believe she is proper RE character. maybe they should use a sub character from one of the series. maybe carlos or something.

lets keep Alice out of the games please

Yeah, it would also be nice if they would bring in some less familiar characters, Ark Thompson, Bruce McGivern, Kevin, Cindy, Mark, George, Alyssa, David, Jim, and Yoko.

yeah or i would love to play one of the police officers who was trying to hold down the police station in RE2. like a flash back of what happened.
