New "Umbrella Chronicles"?

I was on the Resident Evil Wikia and found this

and says "A sequel to umbrella chronicles is currently being developed by Cavio. It will have a scenerio based on the plot of Resident Evil 2 any other scenerio is currently unknown. "
It's named Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
Maybe be true,maybe not

I've never played the first UC. I'm not all that big a fan of the Wii. I'd play it if they ported it to xbox or something though.

I have to say I was really disappointed with the Umbrella Chronicles. When it came out I didn't realise it was a Rails Shooter - not my thing at all. Hopefully this one won't be

Definitely. I much prefer the 3rd person camera to an FPS.

And just seeing how they actually did Leon right in that picture, it makes my hopes really high, as in Degeration when they show the RE2 flashback they just lazily reused his Degeneration character model, which didn't look at all what he did back in 98...

But like I said, this looks really nice, sort of unneccessary though, as they could have just put RE2 in UC to begin with.

yeah i agree spike. it really looks like the original leon. im not gonna get my hopes up too much for this though as as i didnt really love UC

I never played UC yet but with what I am seeing it sounds like a good game...there is one problem though...I hate GC

lol thanks. Well at least another good thing is that they will only be priced at 30 dollars like RE4 Wii Edition.

So is it just me or has Claire's pink shorts been replaced by blue ones? And why did they keep Leon's gear from RE4 on his RPD uniform, that is the lazy stuff that Capcom has been doing.....

And also Claire's hair didn't look like that in RE2, but at least in that one scene where there is fire or something it makes Leon's hair look like it did in RE2, just that you could still see his knife from RE4....

im so goin to want(and buy) it!

look at the reload animation its so damn cool,its barely like a real fps(except the fact u cant move wherever u want)

but anyway even its a on-rails game again ill buy it with happiness


Graphics change so characters does(and thats great for me)
but the scenario still the same,isnt that the most important?

You may or may not be, as we don't really know the full extent of it, the only things that we have seen have been from RE2,but I hope they have more stuff, at least a proper type of remake of RE3 along with that RE2 stuff. And a good voice for Carlos as well as Nemesis not sounding like a robot.

Also to PublicEnemy, the reloads look pretty awesome, it is alot like the Survivor Series now, with the first Survivor it was all 1st person like UC, but in Survivor 2: Code Veronica they added the hands on the screen, this seems to be evolving similarly, as well as some 3rd person stuff so it may be implementing Dead Aim stuff too.
