| So I finally beat Resident Evil 5 today. I started playing from where I continued playing from yesterday, at 12am and I beat the game at 6am. I was only planning on just playing a level, then going to bed, but then I just couldn't stop playing, I was to far in the games story that I had to figure out what was going to happen next. So I said "fuck it, I'm staying up all night and beating the game!"
So let me just say, Wow, what a ride it was, I'm not gonna say to much because I plan to make my own video review of the game. |

| Oh yeah, you got Biohazard 5. So was it good? I have seen some stuff with the gameplay that I don't like at all, and I have seen some spoilers regarding the ending and numerous other things, and it is fairly dissapointing.... |

Gameplay wise, I never had any major problems with it. The whole not being able to run and shoot at the same time thing makes sense for this kinda of game. It gives it far more of a tense feeling when playing, especially when you have multiple enemies, and several chains saw guys after you. They even incorporate some new elements like being able to take cover behind a wall, which is a god send, especially with all the enemies you fight later in the game. Dissapointing? I was quite satisfied with the overall game. Although I felt the beginning of the game is really slow and boring, towards the middle and end of the game it becomes very enjoyable. |

Yeah, not running and shooting is what I wanted, but I didn't want to have the 'cover' system, and I think I saw some strafing maybe? Do you have to have strafing and cover on, or is there a control scheme that doesn't have them? Also, what I meant by dissapointing was the whole thing with Wesker, don't want to say anymore because don't want any spoilers put here, but I saw some major cutscenes(thanks to the good people on youtube) and was fairly dissapointed with what they did.... |

Well if your use to the Resident Evil 4 controls, I think you can change them to that, but that only takes away the strafing, not the cover system. Plus anyway the cover system isn't integrated into to much till the end of the game, but trust me when I say, that when you fight the enemies near the end, your gonna need to use it or your just gonna have a pain in the ass of a time trying to defeat them. As for Wesker, I dunno how much you've seen but I felt that it made sense, well for the most part anyway. I was also very satisfied with the overall game and story. I think you just have to wait and play the game before you know what I'm talking about. |

Well with Wesker it just seemed overthetop... - Spoiler:
The Wesker babies....that was so lame, it seemed like some type of Metal Gear twist, it in my opinion really ruins this really great character, he had this really good part in the story & with him & Birkin, in RE0 for example, had a friendship and it all seems really insignificant with the idea of some type of Wesker baby that was manufactured and a bunch were made, that is just too far I think, RE has always had pretty realistic stuff, believable & reasonable, to an extent, but this really took it in another direction, I just found it dissatysfying..

Well think about, how did he always have those super like human powers, it just wasn't from the G-virus Birkin gave him, you'll find out more when you play the game. Yeah sure it may go a bit over the top, but I think it's just trying to make sense of everything.

- Spoiler:
Wesker never had those powers prior to getting the virus from Birkin, which was not G, it was a virus that still doesn't have a name yet, but anyway that explains how he got them, right after he injected himself and let the T-002 attack him he came back with them.
- Spoiler:
I have to agree with you frodomir, I was very exited to see him in RE5 but the way they put him in there....he was one of the things that I disliked about RE5...
