Doodling a Tyrant

Hey gang. Here's a sketch I've done of everybody's favorite B.O.W., the mighty T-002. I was reading an article by some of the designers for the Star Wars prequels, and the almost entirely digital realm that they work in. I was especially intrigued by one of the artists who shared his technique: a very rough sketch on a post-it note, then scanning and blowing the image up in Photoshop and further refining the image to his liking. I decided to try the same today, and found I really like the technique. It definitely saves me time (up to this point only an half-hour spent) and paper, and the image can then be tweaked without fear of ruining the original drawing. I'll also be sharing later stages of this piece through to the final colored work, so stay tuned.

5/5 You are natural! Keep up good work, your statues are great, so i suggest Down to create a custom rank for you maybe... Something related to art... Or we could start Fan Art section / competition = 1 for photoshop users, and other for statues, or hand made drawings...

Yeah, 5/5. Also, frodomir, I like that idea abou a fan art section, I draw from time to time, and that seems like a pretty cool idea since plenty of people like drawing on here.

Yeah, that is what I was wondering, I think he was meaning for us to make a thread or something, but like you said, a custom made rank or competition, maybe a page with the artwork lined up.
