Residentevil.net

I heard Residentevil.net may be allowing members who log enough points on it to have early access to testing out upcoming games in the near future. Apparently they are going to be updating the site a lot in the near future. I have an account but never really used it. Does anyone else here use it? If so what are your thoughts about it?

Don't think I've ever even heard of it.

It's like a website that logs your Resident Evil game completion and has random contest that offers special rewards for people who have their game accounts linked to their website. It only works when you are playing while connected to a network and have your account linked. It allows you to spend points to unlock avatars for the website ((and maybe other stuff, idk)). I've heard the contest also allow you to unlock things in some of the games, like weapons for Raid modes, that you can't get otherwise. It also compares your stats in the games to other players and has some sort of ranking system.

It's basically an email RE newsletter but it sometimes has bonuses. This is how I got my own beta code for Project Resistance. They changed it a bit and now you will also get points for taking part in certain Ambassador related events for better chances of getting into betas and such.

I'm pretty sure the Ambassador program is also tied to your REnet account (I think you have to log in to both with your Capcom account) so there's also that.

Oh, by the way, Capcom just recently announced that there is another unnamed RE project coming up and that Ambassadors might have a chance to partake in its beta.

Ahh, I thought ambassador part of .net this whole time! You are correct in that you can log into both with your Capcom account, I think that is why I was confused on the two lol. Thanks for the info.

I will have to keep a look out for the events. I think the only thing I ever have received from the ambassador program is random quizzes about characters to my email
