Rules1. No spamming. Spammers will receive an immediate permanent ban.
2. Treat fellow members with respect regardless of your disagreements with them.
3. No plagiarism. Plagiarism is a serious crime and will not be tolerated here. Posting the work of someone else is fine on the condition that you give them full credit. Not doing so will result in said work being removed from the site. Repeat offenses could result in a permanent ban.
4. Similarly, any illegal actions such as sharing pirated games, music, or films are prohibited. Violating this rule will result in a permanent ban and possible reporting of the offending user to the proper authorities. Posting links to fan-made modifications for RE games remains okay to do.
5. Advertising, either on the forum or via PM, is not currently allowed.
6. Keep discussion in a given thread related in some way to the thread's topic. For example, no branching off into discussion about
Doom in a thread about
Resident Evil 2.
7. No unnecessary double posting. Unnecessary double posting is categorized as posting immediately after yourself without adding anything new to the conversation. If you have new information or can further the topic productively and you were the last poster in the thread in question, exceptions can be made. If you're unsure if what you're posting meets either of these conditions, feel free to PM an active administrator (myself being the easiest/quickest to reach) and we'll give you a verdict.
8. No dual accounts. If there is a reason for which you think dual accounts are warranted (e.g., multiple users living in the same household or accessing the site through the same IP address), please request an active administrator's permission.
9. No posting of explicitly gory or pornographic material. Violation of this rule will result in an immediate permanent ban.
10. Please avoid making posts that are less than three words.
If you are unclear on any of these rules, don't hesitate to seek clarification from an administrator.
