Countdown Vampires

Years ago, I bought a NTSC PlayStation, as chipped consoles are as rare as hen's teeth. This was a game I hunted down, and bought as if brand new, still sealed.

Anyway, this may indeed be one of the first Resident Evil rip-off games, that is surprisingly good! I remember I started in a disco, or a bar. I didn't play much of it at all, though.

You seem to have a very narrow definition of "ripoff" here. Not every game with zombies, zombie-like enemies, or 3D characters and objects superimposed over pre-rendered backgrounds is a ripoff of RE, just like not every game played with guns and/or in first person is a ripoff of Doom.
