The Ghost Survivors *OFFICIAL THREAD*

The Ghost Survivors is a free mode coming in an update, at some date in March. Apart from this mode, you get retro style 1998 models for Leon and Claire at no extra cost.

In this extra mode, you can play as one of three ill-fated survivors: Katherine Warren, the mayor's daughter, who was executed by Brian Irons, so she could be made into a trophy, and a as of yet unnamed Umbrella soldier, and also Robert Kendo, the gun store owner who was devoured by zombies near the beginning of the original game. Details about it are not yet known, but I assume they served as side story games, a bit like the Chronicles games on the Wii.

I really want to know who the Umbrella guy is. He probably is not affiliated with HUNK's team. You probably come across his corpse in the original game. Otherwise, why would he be in the game?

Not gonna lie, little disappointed that there's no real story here. Still free is free. Also wish Pale Heads and Poison Zombies were in the main game.

I think Capcom could have gave us a bit of a back story for these characters, and created actual scenes for the beginning and the ending, instead of movie style slideshows. This is just yet another example of their laziness.

I could totally see a Capcom rep reading this thread and thinking, "Okay, let's make these ungrateful assholes pay for everything else from this point on."

Often, I do wonder if Capcom is even aware of forums like this. They are bound to know of ones like Biohaze and Rely on Horror. Right?

I enjoyed these but it doesn't really add any story at all, which is a shame.
