Aquagirl’s skin is resistant to sharp objects, bullets, and any physical harm if she is hydrated with water mixed with a high concentration of sodium to maintain homeostasis in her unique Atlantean body.

Because of her amphibious physiology, Aquagirl has an acute sense of balance.

Aquagirl is able to withstand an incredible amount of strain to her body as long as she stays hydrated.

She has the ability to lift and/or press volumes of mass far in excess to that normally possible for a normal human being.

Leadership skills
From the militant training in Atlantis, Aquagirl is a born leader. Though she was never able to use her leadership skills in her own home city, this can also come to a weakness in her uncompromising attitude and disability to follow others.

Tools

Hydration System
Built into her suit, Aquagirl has the technology to last above water. The suit absorbs the water in the air to hydrate her body, and injects saline to balance the chemical make up to mimic sea water. If broken, she has two hours before she suffers from asphyxiation and ultimately dies.

Atlantean Spear
The spear that Aquagirl fashions is more that it seems. The tip can shoot out for offensive purposes or used as a grapnel. The string in which the tip is connected to is extremely thin, yet stronger than steel so it can coil into the staff of the spear. The Spear can extend and release explosive shocks of electricity to incapacitate hostiles.

Weaknesses

Asphyxiation
When she is outside of water for too long, Aquagirl begins to dehydrate because of a severe deficient supply of oxygen to the body. She becomes weak, her mental state begins to deteriorate, and she loses control of her body and eventfully dies within two hours. Her suit has a module in the back that hydrates her properly so she can withstand being out of water.

Origin
Rhode was born and raised in Atlantis; she felt the innate need to visit the surface frequently. She envied her King, Arthur Curry, that he was usually above water, interacting with the men and women above. But unlike her king, she is full Atlantean and can’t last above water for too long. She spent her time trying to get close to Arthur, so she enlisted in Atlantis’ defense force, where she learned that she was an excellent leader. She learned hand-to-hand combat, squad-based combat, and predatory combat. Eventually, science caught up with her dreams to finally live above water with technology that would help her breathe above. Rhode had eventually rose above the ranks in Atlantis and was recognized by Aquaman, who had then granted her access to the Eastern Armies of the Sea. Disappointed at losing the chance to be by his side above water, she storms out of Atlantis to try to forge her own path instead of one he bestowed upon her. Aquaman banished Rhode from Atlantis soon after.  

On her first visit to her the surface, she almost immediately ran into trouble. By luck, or fate, she stopped an armed car robbery that was linked to super villain: Calculator. Oracle contacted her and the next thing she knew, Rhode was on her way to Gotham to meet the Birds of Prey. Rhode had become a private consultant because she had a hard time taking orders, but was nevertheless an important asset to the team. She takes Oracle as an informant only, she uses her as a reference whenever she doesn’t understand surface dweller culture, or mission details.

Appearance

Hair- Long, thick chocolate brown. Goes down to just pass the shoulder blades and curls every which way at the ends.

Apparel- a band of gilded olive leaves crown her head. A faded, tan shawl is wrapped about her neck and shoulders; it is thick but is made of a softer material. This is used more for protection against the elements than any actually attack. Androdameia is fitted with mostly brown, hard leather. The main piece of protective leather is a girdle that acts as the majority of her clothing. The hard leather fits much as a one piece swim suit would, though it dips down in a V-shape connecting to a bright red fabric that is fitted tightly over her bosom, held in place by a tight, black band that is sewn into the leather at the sides and back. This leaves a large amount bare. For modesty’s sake a small pleated skirt is tied at her right hip, the fabric is connected by a hard knot, her right thigh exposed as the skirt does not come all the way around. Her legs are covered with more brown leather thigh high boots. The ankles of these boots are fitted with strong, metal anklets that are for stability as well as protection. A leather strap is wrapped high on her left thigh, this is for holding any knives she might wish to store on her person, easy access and a safe place for a small blade. Both hands are fitted with tight black fabric, the ring and pinky finger are bare.

Physical

Half-Amazonian- Themyscirian Amazons have varied degrees of superhuman strength, speed, and stamina. They have extraordinarily acute senses which were gifts bestowed upon them by their gods. Adrodameia is capable of breaking apart steel and concrete with her bare hands. Blessed as well with a high durability factor, enhanced healing, and the ability to absorb and process a vast amount of knowledge in a short period of time. Though Adrodameia possess all these traits they are lessened to a degree due to her not being a full blooded Amazon. Themyscirian Combat Expert- each day on Themyscira is dedicated to the bettering of one’s self, be it academically or in combat training. Androdameia has spent her whole life training both her mind and body. She is trained in the ways of armed and unarmed combat, all which were developed over centuries by the Amazons that have come before her. Themyscirian Bracer Training- like all Amazons; Androdameia is trained in the ways of blocking projectiles with special bracers. These bracers are given to amazon’s who have completed the training for them. Some are even blessed by various gods or goddesses who favor that individual amazon.

Mental

Fast Learner- though she is by no means a genius. When it comes to certain aspects; Andromadeia is rather efficient when it comes to learn new concepts, especially when it comes to hand to hand combat or weaponry. She is rather clever; having a good head on her shoulders and is not prone to being tricked.

Weapons/Tools

Sword of Themis- Andromadeia possesses a sturdy kopis sword. This is a favored weapon of ancient Greek warriors, it is thick and curved mid blade, with a curved grip. This weapon is used for swift thrusting and stabbing and 25 inches in blade length. In Amazonian society, some individuals gain favor from gods by proving themselves exemplary or talented in certain fields. Andromadeia’s stern and truthful personality, as well as her bravery gained her favor from Themis, the goddess of divine order, justice and customs. Themis imbued the kopis blade with durability, making it capable of withstanding not only the strength of the Amazonian using the blade but also whatever force her enemy might inflict upon it. On top of this the blade seems to thrum and ache whenever it is near those who wish to do evil. When brandished to fight a foe, if that foe is truly wicked or has done some sort of great injustice in their life the blade seems to be drawn to them, almost like a dowsing rod.

Amazonian Bracers: Andromadeia excelled at the  bracer training all Amazonians must undergo. They are hard, durable bracers though hers’ are not the magical ones gifted to Wonder Woman. They are used for blocking projectiles though she has never used them against bullets, she can move swift enough to block them, along with anything else but because they are simple bracers they are prone to injuring her wrists if she uses them too often. These are a last resort/defense against bullets, arrows or any other small bits of harmful debris cast her way.

History

Andromadeia was born on Themyscira to a native of the island; Prothoe. The Amazon had left Themyscira as a means of self-exploration. Over the course of the next few years Prothoe explored the world of man much like the Princess Diana did and found the love of a man. Though happy with modern world and the man she had chosen to be with, Prothoe fled back to Themyscira after she became with child. Wanting to raise the child in  the safety of the Amazonian homeland.

Thusly, Andromadeia was born to culture of the Amazonians. Growing up there, she was nurtured and raised by Prothoe and the women of Themyscira. Pledging her life to the protection of the queen Hippolyta and the island itself. Despite this, Andromadeia seemed to struggle more so than a pure Amazonian. She was not as strong or as fast, and she aged faster than all of them, though still less than a normal human. Frustration was the norm for the young woman, who found herself always outdone by her peers.

Prothoe assured her that the mortal blood within her was not something to be ashamed of, but like most young, impetuous forty year old Amazons, Andromadeia wanted to prove herself. She begged her mother to let her go forth, she was strong and the world was not so alien to their people anymore. Prothoe did not want her to go but the strong willed girl insisted until finally her mother caved.

Prothoe would give Andromadeia a day to explore the world. They would go together to a costal place in the States and experience ‘Man’s world’ together. Reluctant but happy to get her way Andromadeia agreed and together they set out to visit the city where Prothoe met Andromeda’s father. Coast City.

Prothoe brought them there using the magic of the island, planning on the day being uneventful as the area she had chosen was isolated. She had not planned for Andromadeia to wander off to the distant docks in some fit of childish rebellion.

The young Amazonian met her first men there, intrigued and suspicious she followed them after conversing with them about the world of men. She was quickly downed by a cloth drenched in chlorophorm. The men she had met were traders in human trafficking. And unconscious surrounded by other shivering or unconscious girls, Andromadeia was quickly transported to the city that couldn’t be saved, Hub.

Physical Description:
Bruce is a body builder, he's usually the tallest in a room. His back and chest is littered with scars from past battles, though he has a clean face free of scars, he keeps it well maintained for the public, as Wayne is a world famous name. Bruce Wayne's intimidating structure is usually off put by his warm smile, although it comes in good use when the Batman is interrogating a criminal.

Gear/Clothes:

Batsuit:
The costume Batman wears is composed of reinforced Kevlar and a small percentage of titanium; it's bullet-proof and resistant to various types of attack (explosions, impacts, falls, etc...). The chests matte black Bat Symbol is extra bullet proof, with a ballistic material and acts as a target for foes to aim at. It's also flame-retarding and insulating. The gloves and the boots are reinforced to rebound the impact of punches and kicks. The interior of his glove has a memory foam which could act as a lock pick in case he can't get to his utility belt. The gauntlets have also some metallic blades on their sides to catch blades, keep his cape away from his body, and in dire situations scale a wall. The cape is designed to provide the wearer with controlled gliding functionality with the ability to change directions and heights while in mid-air. The mask has a little percentage of lead, which shields the face of Batman from x-ray powers or x-ray technology, and incorporates an infrared and night visor, auditory sensors and a sonar. The mask is accessorized with some security systems (aggravating gas, electric blasts, etc.), like the utility belt to prevent a stranger taking off his mask, and integrates a transmitter receiver device via voice and video.

Utility Belt:
Batman's Utility belt wraps around his waist and most if not all of Batman's equipment including smoke bombs, gas pellets, brass knuckles, batarangs, grapnel hooks, etc. The center has a concealed button which brings his batmobile to his location. The utility belt use to be larger, but Batman decided to opt for mobility rather than gadgets.

Batrope:
The Batrope (or Bat-line) is a length of monofilament wire attached to a spool, and concealed within a special compartment on Batman's utility belt. It is used primarily for scaling the sides of buildings and ensnaring targets. Although not the most glamorous item in Batman's crime-fighting arsenal, it is doubtless one of his more useful tools, and comes in handy when rooftop patrolling is more expeditious than conveyance.

Batarang:
Batman's most used form of silent long range attacks, he has multiple different batarangs for different occasions and keeps them stored in his utility belt and gauntlets and fold in half for easy access. He has explosive charge batarangs, enough to take down a weak wall, sonic batarangs, paralysis educing batarangs. The edges are sharp enough to double as knives in the event of emergency and can cut through his own bat-line.

Batmobile:
The Batmobile is probably the most powerful vehicle in Gotham, it's silent, fast, and armed to the teeth with offensive and defensive weaponry including various cannons, mini-guns, and heat seeking missiles. The armor of the batmobile is nearly indestructible. Layered with plates of titanium and high carbon steel, it can take more punishment than an average tank. The Batmobile can easily crush anything in it's way and adapt to the surrounding terrain. In the event that it's submerged in water, it can deploy multiple floats and it becomes amphibious.

Abilities

Indefatigable Will:
Although he has no superhuman powers, Batman's unstoppable determination and strength of will make him an extremely formidable opponent. This makes him able to function while tolerating massive amounts of physical pain, and also allows him to resist telepathy or mind control. His willpower is strong enough to operate a Green Lantern Ring when necessary. He is known for rising up to the circumstance should an emergency arise.

Intimidation:
It is widely known that Batman has the ability to instill fear in others, even the people that know him best are intimidated by him. Even those who aren't afraid of the likes of Superman fear Batman. It's because of Batman's sense of justice that he'd do anything for the greater good, that he can accomplish this; he has even intimidated Darkseid into submission once.

Interrogation:
Batman is adept in interrogation techniques, often using law enforcement methods as well as torture. Several methods seen include hanging a person over the edge of a building by one leg or chaining a person upside down and beating them. He usually just plain uses his frightening appearance to get answers.

Leadership:
Though he doesn't know it yet, Batman is a natural born leader, with training that exceeds military standards. He he an excellent tactician and warrior, always thinking ahead of his opponent.

Investigation:
With genius level intellect, Batman has earned the right of The World's Greatest Detective. Molding his brain into a super mind, he is capable of observation, forensic investigation, and inductive and deductive reasoning of the highest caliber. Along with Human intuition as an unlearnable trait, he also developed a photographic memory, and they are Batman's most effective tools. Given any mystery, he can arrive at the correct conclusions with a fraction of the data.

Master of Stealth:
Living in the shadows, Batman can sneak through heavily guarded facilities unnoticed, he has been known to even sneak and surprise the likes of Superman who has enhanced hearing.

Multilingual:
He is able to speak Spanish, French, Latin, German, Japanese, English, Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Greek, Portuguese, Arabic, Sanskrit, Hindi, Thai and possibly more.

Physical:

Through intense training, specialized diet, and biofeedback treatments, Batman represents the pinnacle of human physical prowess. His physical attributes exceeded that of any Olympic level athlete that has ever completed. Strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes and coordination are at peak human perfection. Batman began his physical and mental conditioning when he was 11 and then intense physical training and weight lifting at age 12. He has mastered full body control by the time he was 18. Bruce Wayne, since the age of 15, has created a strict diet to enable his body to develop and operate at its most proficient, along with biofeedback treatments (using portable/non portable machines to stimulate muscles to contraction).

Batman has performed amazing physical feats due to his superior physique, taking down a tree with one kick is something he trained by masters of martial arts all around the world. He engaged in an intensive regular regimen of rigorous exercise (including aerobics, weight lifting, gymnastics, and simulated combat) to keep himself in peak condition, and has often defeated opponents whose size, strength, or other powers greatly exceeded his own. He has spent his entire life in pursuit of physical perfection and has attained it through constant intensive training and determination. It is shown that Batman can bench at least 1000lbs.

Trained highly in nearly every deadly form of martial art, including of Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Muay Thai, Dragon Style Kung Fu, Boxing, Jujitsu, and Ninjitsu, he is quite literally a human weapon. Also trained proficiently in gymnastics and aerobics, Batman can vault himself and scale obstetrical at an almost superhuman speed.

Personality:

Stoic by nature, Batman endures and most and all pain that has numbed him since the death of his parents. Usually quiet, he mulls thoughts in his head where he works best. When talking, he is curt and to the point, rarely showing interest in another party. His allies are few and his personality shows it, as he doesn't trust anyone accept for Alfred with his secret identity as The Batman. To protect his secret identity, Batman has constructed a fake persona he can use in his civilian identity. To the world at large, Bruce Wayne is a self-absorbed, superficial, irresponsible playboy, and philanthropist, blowing all of his parent's wealth on girls, booze, and other pleasures in life. Though he can bring up the charms when he needs to he can also get political and find himself at Policemen's Balls or Town Hall Meetings for the improvement of Gotham.

The Dark Knight is grim, and takes crime on a personal level. Despite this, Batman has proved to have a great love for humanity, which was instilled by his parents. His father was a doctor, while his mother was a crusader against child abuse. Indeed, Batman's oath of vengeance is tempered with the greater ideal of justice. He refrains from killing, as he feels this would not make him any better than the criminals he fights. His moral code doesn't however stop him from making his victims feel like he will kill them, though he always knows how far he can go before he takes a life.

Bruce has come to the conclusion that Bruce Wayne is his mask, and the Batman is who he truly is. Batman figures he hasn't been a boy since he was 8 years old, all the feeling leaving his body, and replaced with a numbness that won't go away. Paranoia and obsessiveness crept in and stayed for the long haul. Being an orphan made him somewhat of a collector, because he lost so much, he feels the need to hold on to what he can. Batman also sympathizes with children, it could also cause a blind spot for him if a child is involved. He becomes obsessed with the case until everything is resolved.

It is said best that Batman is fighting so no one could feel the pain that he has felt. A hero who wishes he never came to be.

History:
Bruce Wayne was 8 years old when his parents were gunned down in front of him, since then he was no longer a boy. Determined, he made a vow to rid the city of evil that took his parents from him. Immediately training both his body and mind, he was shooting himself through life with only one goal in mind. He took apart calculators to know how it worked, place his hands over fire to learn to tolerate the pain, he grew up hopping from school to school, traveling around the world to seek the most trained fighters, detectives, and shooters, to become the best possible human alive. The determination that drove him consumed him, and he didn't stop for 18 years until finally returning back to Gotham. At 26, Bruce continued his training in solace, making a foundation in the caves near Wayne Manor, calling it his Batcave as it was infested with vampire bats. As the weeks turned into months he decided to go into the city and scout the area. On his first scout, he got into a fight, which cops came to the scene soon after and put a bullet into his shoulder. The first of many scars. Bruce escaped the cops after busting out of their cop car despite being handcuffed and bleeding out. He arrived back at his manor, confused with his results, he needed a way to make them scared from the start. Resting in his father's study, looking upon his portrait, a bat came crashing through the window, this was when he decided he would become a bat.

Wayne designed himself a costume equipped with experimental technology and set out against the crime and corruption that thrived in Gotham City. Wayne's tactics to oppose crime as a vigilante at night proved successful leading him to become an urban legend in Gotham City. He would reveal himself at a dinner of the most influential and corrupt figures in Gotham City promising them all that their reigns on the city would eventually end. Wayne's first ally is assistant district attorney Harvey Dent. Most of the Gotham City Police Department is sent in force to capture him.He gained his most powerful ally when he met police lieutenant James Gordon, one of the few honest cops on the force. The two developed a working relationship operating outside of the law when they needed to.

Batman's presence in Gotham City generated a new breed of criminals, no longer the simple thugs and gangsters involved in Gotham Organized Crime, but more dynamic personalities. The first person inspired by him was Catwoman, a dangerous seductress using his style and methods towards her own ends. One night, he chased a felon known as The Red Hood into Ace Chemicals. Red Hood accidentally fell into the toxic waste and bathed in the chemicals until he was flushed out into the Gotham Harbor, and came back as The Joker, who threatened to poison Gotham's water supply. More villains arose, some simply to challenge the Bat, others out of revenge, which ever the case, old money began to die out, and masks began to take over.

To this point, people are still unsure if The Batman is real or not, as he has been very careful of revealing himself to the public.

Physical Description: Roman Sionis is a tall, muscular man with a broad chest and shoulders, long powerful legs and the arms of a boxer. He is a physical threat and it shows in the none too subtle condition of his body. Other than being moderately good-looking there is nothing outstand about his physical appearance.



Gear/Clothes:



Formal Attire- Roman can most often be found wearing three-piece suits and formal attire that would be expected of a CEO of a successful company. The colors ranger from black to blue and often times are pinstriped. You will never see him in public with a nice pair of expensive black shoes and black, leather gloves.

Casual Attire- This doesn’t often times vary too much from his formal attire. A button up shirt and black slacks paired with suspenders are the norm but on occasion Roman will wear a very loud, flamboyant shirt for the sake of expressing his ‘artistic’ side.


Janus Mask: A heavy black mask made of dense wood, carved from Roman’s father’s coffin. It is thick and cumbersome, but protects his head from falls and punches. It has no other use than to hide his identity.

5.11 Tactical Vest: Black and heavily plated, this bullet-proof vest is worn under Roman’s Black Mask get up while he is running his False Face Society. It is fitted with NSN ceramic plating in the chest, belly and back. As well as having heavy padding on the shoulders. It is waterproof but only one pocket for storage.

Shoulder Holsters: Hearty, brown leather straps with two gun holsters for easy and convenient carrying.  This is also for concealing his weapons though if he were to be searched it would not be difficult to locate his weapons. There is a small sling on the harness for a knife but often times this goes unused.

Two Glock 22s: Two 40. Glock 22s. These 15 ounce handguns are used throughout the world by the police and criminals as reliable and efficient firearms. Neither gun has any aftermarket features and is capable of firing 15 rounds per mag. In Roman’s experience; these guns are also rather good at bashing in skulls.


Physical:


Fighters Physique: Roman is in peak physical condition and has benefitted greatly from years of training in boxing. He can’t lift a car over his head or rip someone limb to limb, but in a fight he can can kill a man with his bare hands and has done so in the past. He has no prior conditions that might render him physically vulnerable. Years of physical activity and his own raging temper have rendered Roman a force to be reckoned with. His youth and excellent health allow him to heal from and endure far more pain and injury than your average human.


Pain Resistant: While he has yet to endure the events that would truly transform him into the Black Mask of the future, he is highly resistant to pain. Able to endure a flurry of punches, broken bones, cuts, gunshot wounds (non fatal); being injured is more of an inconvenience for Roman than it is a hazard to his health.

Master Marksman: Roman is an amazing shot and relies on rapid fire and efficiency to get the job done when using any sort of firearm. Be it a handgun, rifle or even a bazooka; he knows his way around it and is capable of picking up any firearm of the street and using it correctly and with dangerous accuracy.

Torture Hobbyist: What the Black Mask is truly known for is his sadistic methods of torture. Enthusiastic and inventive, Roman enjoys pushing his victims to the brink of pain to get what he wants out of them. This has earned him fear from his enemies and his own thugs, and often times he can be found getting his own hands dirty when it comes to interrogating people.

Not only is he capable of bringing his victims to the brink of insanity from physical pain, he is also capable of mental torture that has shattered lesser men and women; leaving them broken, empty husks.

Criminal Mastermind: It is still too early in his criminal career, but Roman Sionis is capable of extremely effective and impressive strategy and has organized a successful Gang; the False Face Society, from scratch all the while running his family company. His strategic mind is on par with the best of the best and it is not hard to believe that one day he will be the first Mobster in twenty years to rule all the Crime in Gotham.




Personality: Hot Headed. Arrogant. Dangerous. These are mere words and do not truly express the depths of depravity and instability that make up Roman ‘Black Mask’ Sionis. Though his arrogance is the most outstanding trait, it is not unfounded as he is a criminal genius and has no trouble reminding others of that; not only through his acts but from bragging as well. Roman thinks very highly of himself and very little of others unless they’ve proven themselves otherwise.

While he is not prone to too many tantrums, when he becomes angry it is a unstoppable rage that consumes him until he tires himself out. Killing people to slake his bloodlust is one of the many ways he has found to achieve this.

Oddly enough, Roman Sionis is a romantic at heart; but not in any traditional sense of the word. He can become obsessed quite easily and fixates on the object of his affection to the point of it becoming physically unhealthy. For him AND the woman. He has no problem using women as he sees fit and is happy to flirt and hook-up with willing girls; but if a person truly catches his eye he will forego these other distractions and dedicate his every waking moment to claiming that person.

Roman is also quite hateful and vengeful. If he feels he is wronged or crossed in any way he will utilize that passionate anger of his to destroy that person in any way he can. He can hold a grudge for years and will do just about anything to achieve his goals of revenge. It is wisest not to cross.


History:

Roman Sionis was born to a very wealthy Gotham family, in the same social cast as the Wayne Family. His parents cared far more about their social status than they did their own child, proven by the lack of a lawsuit when he was dropped on his head by the doctor who helped birth him. His mother’s reason was that she did not want to deface their good name by getting involved in a common lawsuit.

Most of Roman’s life was a mixture of pretense and luxury, his parents would often times show one side of themselves to society while in reality they behaved in another way completely. This was the seed for Roman’s resentment towards them as they would insist he do the same.

At the age of twelve, Roman went on his first camping trip. Sheltered and uneducated, the boy wandered off and was attacked by a rabid raccoon. He survived the infection but suffered horrible pain and hallucinations that would be the true start of his mask obsession. For he would later compare himself to that animal; a thing ‘trapped in a lifelong mask’ like he believed himself to be.

At the age of twenty-one, Roman was hired in a low level position at his family’s company. It would take him a month to raise to the top as vice president. Not long after he fell in love with a model with, stage named Circe; who was looking to get hired in his fathers cosmetic. His parents forbade him from associating with a woman so under his class and for once in his life he managed to put up the mask his parents had always told him to.

A few months later both of them died in a mysterious fire.


Roman took over as CEO of Sionis Industries after this, though his obsession would soon drive his company into the ground. He threw large quantities of money at a cosmetic endeavor that saw zero success on the market as well as wasting funds on his growing mask collection and Circe.

Desperate to gain back his lost funds, Roman threw what little money his company had at his Research and Development departments; pressuring them to come up with something unique and original. What they came up with was a completely water proof makeup that Roman marketed to the public aggressively. This proved a bad idea; as in his rush to get the product out to the public he skipped on important testing that would have shown the make up to be a highly dangerous toxin. This toxin disfigured several hundred Gotham consumers.

Now besieged by lawsuits and on the brink of bankruptcy, Sionis was forced to sell out his company to Bruce Wayne; who offered to bail him out if he gave up control of the company to Wayne Industries. During this debacle, Circe left Roman for opportunities at a more promising Cosmetic company.

Unhinged more so than ever, Roman went into hiding; traveling to his parents crypt where he stayed for several days. Stewing in his misery and impotent anger, Roman eventually snapped and smashed his father’s coffin to pieces; crafting from the wreckage a mask. This event put him through a mental transformation that would see him emerge from his parents crypt as the Black Mask.

Gathering what precious belongings he could from his family home, Roman began the semi-cult group known as the False Face Society. A small but growing Gang that has been killing, stealing and absorbing smaller street gangs for the last eight months.

"Lovely to meet THE Blue Beetle" Ky didn't give him a choice, she took his hand in hers and gently shook it. She pinched her tongue between her molars in concentration; hoping she didn't hurt him. "You are correct, I've been under his tutelage for---Six months? Yes. Six months." Ky released his hand and tucked her hands behind her back, " I hope I am not distracting you too much, I can be quiet if you don't mind me watching you work"

"Oh it's alright. I could use the company." Ted blushed, kneeling back over his veritable work bench, and flicking on a flashlight. "It's kind of all boring though, if you really don't have anything better to do." He said turning his head, half of him just to make sure she didn't already leave. "How did you meet the big man?"

The small frown of dismay that crossed Ky's face was as quick to leave as it was to appear. "I was--orphaned and was a witness to one of his cases. He took me in. I guess I showed potential" It was a vague story that she hoped conveyed how little she wanted to speak about her past. "He speaks very highly of you though" Ky tilted her head and merely observed what he was doing, committing the actions to memory.

"Ahaha, well he should." Blue Beetle laughed, "He owns my company pretty much. I folded with Wayne Enterprises a while ago, and since then I haven't seen anything but revenue." Several sparks flew from the mess of wires and circuit boards he was working on.

"Daawww, she's so cute!" Looper approached her fully. Of course she was curious as to what events had happened between the little demon and the real Titans, but she was willing to let whatever it was slide. Unfortunately, she couldn't speak for her team mates of course. And judging by the looks on their faces, except maybe Sparkys, this might take a little more persuasion. "Come on guys, everyone deserves a chance at redemption. And let me be the first one to give you that chance." she shook her hand in greeting. "Nice to meet you, Tiz! And wow your hands are really warm."

"No, absolutely not." Jotis said, curt and brash. He advanced on Karma and pulled her hair back to keep her away from the She-Demon. "This," he explained, propping Karma upright since she had lost balance from his tug, "is not happening. You, get out, or taste my sword." Jotis wasn't about to trust anyone, he still didn't trust his team. This Karma character was too friendly, she walked up to a random stranger and shook her hand. Tizmael could have bit her neck or ripped her heart out. The 'blood of the innocent' line was also still lingering in the back of Jotis' mind. "What are you thinking? Are you mad? You have no idea who this person is, and the Titans never mentioned her." Jotis whispered angrily into Karma's ear, then pushed her aside.

Zero winced slightly as Jotis berated Karm. Sure she was probably being a little TOO nice to a blatant trespasser, but on the other hand, he didn't like seeing her get chewed out. Zero- never disipating the force bolt in his hand, however- looked at Jotis out of the corner of his eye. "Come on, cut her some slack. I don't like a blatant trespasser and someone who openly was on the Titan's bad side running around probably just as much as you. But she just wanted to try and make the best of it is all." He pleaded, trying to convince Jotis to ease up on Karmy. Now this 'Tiz' however, this was a different story. Jotis clearly wasn't budging with her story, and Zero was just about as comfortable with the idea as he was of just letting her in. He kept a careful eye on her as he awaited Jotis's command.

Sparky was far from freaked out. Did he beleive Tiz was really there for that whole 'make things right' story? Not really. But he also agreed that she was going about it all wrong if she was going to hurt them- if she wanted to hurt them- and could clearly sneak past the security- she could've easily blown a gas line or something and wiped them all out quickly. But one thing he was curious about.... "What exactly do you mean by 'did the titans wrong', hm?" He asked curiously. Finding out more about her and her relationship with the other Titans could help him unravel just what she was up to.....

The imp grimaced as it seemed Jotis was none too keen on letting her stay, and Zero was following along with his leader and threat displaying. "Easy now. Even if you don't want me here, I've done no violence. Put the weapons down please." Tizmael rubbed the back of her neck, chewing at her lip as she tried to form the words. "I am not proud of it." She looked at Sparky, offering a crooked smile, supplemented by a nervous laugh. "While assisting them, I may have used excessive force that caused lasting damage to a foe. And maybe I indulged in some larceny...."

Men flew and careened every which way, some horribly injured others merely unconscious. The thugs stood little chance, and it was Clipboard who saw that. Fumbling idly in his pocket, he took out his phone and dialed the Penguin’s direct number; rushing off from the scene as he placed the device to his ear.

“Y-yes Mr. Cobblepot. We have a problem, a fight’s broken out. B-Bane is going crazy, most of the guys are down and I don’t even know if Larry isurrrk!”

Clipboard barely got to finish as a powerful forearm caught him under the chin, he had merely run into it but it was like slamming front first into a cement wall. He dropped his cell, a squawking fuss coming to life on the other end; grasping his throat he looked up at whatever hit him.

And was surprised to see a young girl in a skin tight get up staring intently at the ongoing brawl behind him. Clipboard chugged and gasped at the air as his bruised trachea ached and made it feel like he was gagging. The sound pulled Ky’s attention down to the thug, who she offered nothing short of apathy.

“If you move I will have to stop you”

The goon knew enough about costumed people in this town to not underestimate this weirdo, he just stammered and nodded. Which was all the girl needed to walk around him and stride with purpose towards the fight.

Most of the thugs were on the ground, some were backing away from Bane as he juiced out on them; too smart or too cowardly to want to take him on anymore. No one seemed to notice the girl walking up behind the Luchador until she spoke.


“I am going to have to ask you to deactivate your steroidal injection device and get on your knees.”

Nova violently threw the Umbrella Trooper up against the cement wall and nailed him in the gut with a pair of hard knee lifts. "I can do this all night, friend. When it stops is all up to you, just tell me what I want to know and that's it." she said to the beaten and bloodied man, defenseless against the assault with his hands lashed behind his back.

"If I talk, you'll kill me." the Trooper spat, only to receive a pair of hard punches to the face.

Nova shook her head. "No, if you talk, I'll hog-tie you like a calf at my daddy's ranch, but otherwise leave you breathing. But if you insist on staying tight-lipped, I'll break your neck." she replied, pulling him back and forcing him down on his knees. She then stepped around behind him and embraced him for that final nap. "Your last chance to go home to your sweetie." she warned him.

"Okay, I'll talk! Just please don't kill me!" the freaked Trooper exclaimed.

Nova released him and stepped back around in front of him. "Good choice." she replied, glancing over her shoulder as Sarkis and Kincaid emerged from the corridor behind her.

"The government sent us in to rescue survivors." the Trooper revealed to her.

Nova shook her head. He was lying and not doing a very good job. In fact, he was doing a horrible job. "No, it didn't. That's a lie and I just hate it when men lie to me." she replied, pulling her knife from its belt sheath. "See, relationships are based on trust. Trust is built through honesty. And if you want to trust me not to cut you into little pieces and mail you back to your mother, you've got to be honest with me." she explained almost casually, waving the knife around in front of his face. "Now, are you going to be honest with me, or do I have to hurt you?" she asked.

The Trooper gulped. "The company sent us down here to acquire a sample of the G-virus from the lab." he confessed in a fit of terror.

"What lab?" Nova demanded.

The Trooper nodded down the other side of the tunnel. "The door at the end." he answered.

"And how many more of your friends do I have to kill?" Nova asked.

"Two teams, 12 men each. MP5s and Beretta 92s." the Trooper answered.

Nova shook her head. "Thank you." she said, drew her .45, and centered it at his head.

"No, wait!" the Trooper exclaimed, right before he was shot in the forehead. The sound echoed through the tunnels.

Holstering her pistol, Nova took a look around, grabbing an MP5 submachine gun off one of the dead Umbrella Troopers. "I assume you know how to use this?" she said, tossing the weapon to Kincaid, who caught it with one hand. He nodded in response to her question. "Good. Get all the ammo you can carry off these corpses. You'll need it. We move in five." she replied, and checked over her own weapon.

"She scares me..." Kincaid whispered to Sarkis.

"Don't worry, it just means she likes you." Sarkis replied reassuringly.
