Drain Deimos Empty
PostSubject: Drain Deimos   Drain Deimos EmptyMon Nov 24, 2014 4:16 am

So I just took a Resident Evil 3 quiz and got a pathetic score of 12 out of 20. Link to quiz: http://www.shortlist.com/tech/gaming/the-ultimate-resident-evil-3-quiz

One of the questions I got wrong was what type of creature did the Drain Deimos mutate from. I had read pretty much every single file in RE3 (except Jill's diary, which I never managed to unlock) and had never heard the name of the type of creature they mutated from when they came into contact with the T-Virus. When I Googled it I recognised the monsters in question. I have no idea where in RE3 it tells you either their name or the type of creature they mutated from. Can anyone provide answers?

Hmm... Maybe there has been a mention of this in either the first Archives book or some file in the Chronicles games? Or possibly it's something that has been missed in translation or mentioned in some guide book.

Btw I got 12 too. I swear that question about Nemesis' forms is a trick question, since it asks how many mutated forms he had, when it apparently means to ask how many forms in total he had.

I also don't remember anywhere in the game where you find out the answer to the second question, the name of the guy who locks himself in the back of his truck at the very start of the game. One thing I only found out recently is that if you go back to that room later in the game there is some ammo by there.

His name is mentioned in a memo you can pick from his pocket after you go back to his dead body.

The file is also available in the N64 port of RE2 and in Umbrella Chronicles.
