The Elder Scrolls Thread

So, who here likes the Elder Scrolls games? I've played every single one of them, and I'm going to play ESO when it comes out (even though I dislike some of the differences it has taken away from the core series).

What about you all?

Just an FYI, pretty sure we already have an Elder Scrolls thread on REF. I believe I may have created it.

I know a little about Morrowind, I freaking owned Oblivion, and I have/had Skyrim. Skyrim was real cool, but I didnt get to finish it.

T'was not in the first 10 pages on Off Topic and I couldn't find it with the search button so I'm not going to call foul.

Though, to be fair, anything over 5 pages is too much if it can't be found with search.

Fair enough. It was created a looonnngg time ago.

One of my favourite times was when I joined the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion. That was the most fun! And that one guy got f'd up at the end.

I've only played Oblivion and Skyrim.
I never could get into Oblivion.
However, I have spent a sad amount of time playing Skyrim. Maybe it's the aspect of Dragons, but I absolutely love this game.
The Elder Scrolls Online seemed promising, however I've heard nothing but bad reviews about it. And the release date for it's console versions has been pushed back once again. I might consider getting it if they release it for the old gen consoles but right now, next gen is a little too expensive for me.

Teh Spike can say the same thing about Oblivion too. Teh Spike was playing a lot of Skyrim at one point, but then I took an arrow to the knee. And honestly, that's really the only way you can play Elder Scrolls, is for ridiculous amounts of time. You can't just be all like, "I'm gonna go play Skyrim for a half-hour!". Impossible!

I like the kill scenes in Skyrim too, very cool. I also like the Dragon aspect in Skyrim, but Teh Spike took advantage of the Vampires and Werewolves and have two totally different characters, one is a Vamp and the other is a Werewolf.
