Biohazard Gun Survivor... on PC?

Hello everyone, welcome to another one of "Mass Distraction's obscure Resident Evil trivia". Hmm... Should I rename all my trivia threads that? Oh well, back to the thing.

Ever wanted to play a Survivor title with a mouse? Well, this was your chance. A chance you'll never be able to get. See, the PC port was only released in China and all subsequent releases of it were cancelled. From what I've gathered, it was supposed to be released at least in Japan and Europe at some point but that obviously never happened since I bet none of you have even heard of its existence. There is a reason for this, though, but I'll get to it later.

Capcom went all out with this port, or so you would think, by completely rebuilding it on a different engine and allowing mouse to be used as a means of aiming, instead of the Gun Con that was used in the PS version. It still retained the optional button aiming that was also present in the console release. The sad part is, the game was completely screwed up with missing AI scripts, bad textures, wrong sound effects on enemies (from what I've heard, sometimes zombies sounded like hunters) and terrible sound quality in general. And this here, my friends, is the reason I mentioned earlier why this game was never release outside of China. Now it has fallen to obscurity and all copies of it have probably been destroyed by angry children all around China. If you happen to find one... I'll buy it at a high price!
