| This is halestride i had to make a new account, because my last email address got messed up so i couldnt log in. On another note i will be posting reviews of old games and new games i have done as practice to see what you guys think. Please dont hate to bad just tell me the misstake and i'll fix it. I want to make it a career, writing reviews for a big company, or designing games.

Go ahead man, would be glad to see what you do and give back valid critique.
If you want the production to be good alongside your video reviews then you will have to also gain experience
in graphic applications such as Photoshop, After Effects and 3D software programs in order to further evolve your animation or promotion screens.
I would suggest Cinema 4D for this kind of stuff.
Modelling and animation then I would suggest Maya and I really like 3D's MAX.
If you want to get into Game design then first start by choosing what area of game design you would be more suited for
or what part of game designing interests you the most.
You will also have to go and sit a degree and have vast array of work in a portfolio before you can pursue a career in the industry or
even get an internship.
I'm gunning for internship with Rockstar North after I've obtained my Bachelors degree and as I've got a close friend to mine that
is currently an environmental modeller and I also sit and talk to a guy that shops in my work called John (he is a lead artist for R*N) then I feel a little more at ease.
Plus since my friend has shown me how to develop a portfolio in which will gather the interest for a Game then hopefully I'm in with a shout as I know what type of material is suitable for such a portfolio
Still got a lot more studying to do but I've set it as a goal, so you never know. |

...... Thats awesome dude i wish you the best of luck, when i go to collage im going for journalism and game design im still looking into alot. My dads is collage right now for designing in fact alot of people that make games have attended this school or a sister school. ill try and get him to help me out where i need it like you do with your friend. If i cant find help there i might shoot you a question here and there maybe you can help me out.
