RE7: Beginnings

It is near dawn. The skies are red with the coming sunrise, and on the outskirt's of an old, abandoned Umbrella factory, this means just another mission completed by the infamous HUNK. What was a simple 5-man operation has been cut down to only 3 survivor's: HUNK, WOLF, and TIGER. Agent BOBCAT was killed in a run-in with a pack of Hunter's, GORILLA was lost trying to save BOBCAT. The mission was to obtain a data file for a Tyrant-variant that was never truly completed. Tyrant V-001; former name Steve Burnside. The file contained all the notes, and the location of the forgotten Tyrant. While HUNK was always emotionally void, he once at least had some humanity. Once. However, he is a soldier now. His duty will from now on be to complete the mission directives. No matter the cost. However, this was the first time he even thought about questioning the mission. The person who was giving the orders was killed in 1998, and wasn't even an adviser. This was quickly discarded when he received his orders. Approaching a HIND helicopter sporting the U.S.S. logo, he found the truth. A deceased UBCS soldier by the name of Klaus.
Unresponsive, his soldieristic personality made him hand over the file. Here, Klaus smiles briefly, and shoots HUNK in the chest with a discontinued SOCOM MK23 silenced handgun, chambered in .45ACP. As WOLF and TIGER leave the complex, they are also both executed by Klaus. While on the ground, HUNK see's the true face of his boss: Dr. Cameron, from over 16 years past. Cameron flies off in the escape helicopter, and HUNK is, for once in his life, free from the psychological hold that his career has had on his emotion and personality. He completed the mission, and was betrayed. Now he wants revenge. Passing out, he wakes, on the shores of Miami Florida, with little equipment, 3 miles away from the Umbrella Island lab, and in the middle of an outbreak. He was unconscious for 38 hours and 42 minutes. He had a mission. It was to kill Dr. Cameron.

On the other side of town, aproximately 38 minutes before the Viral attack, Claire Redfield is checking in to a Hotel near the shores of Miami. It is 11:00 am, and Claire just had a quick lunch at a nearby restaraunt. Now entering the Hotel Room 4-A, she prepares to take a shower in the nearby Bathroom. during the short time, she misses a broadcast indicating that the U.S. Government transfer a large sum of 10 Billion dollars to an internet-based Bank Account, or a major city will be attacked every 30 minutes. The president states that the U.S. will not pay terrorist's, and puts the country into a state of Alert, scanning phone calls, emails, and any form of possible purchase involving possible tools of destruction. However, due to this crisis, all Police are asked to go door-to-door to check citizen safety/terrorist activity. This leads to former RPD officer Kevin Ryman to check the room with Claire Redfield, who is now dressed in a pair of Levis Jeans and her Trademark vest. She is unaware of the situation, until Kevin comes in. Kevin Ryman introduces himself as a lietenant for the MPD. Claire, instinctfully ask's why Kevin was here, and Kevin then details the situation. As Claire reacts to this, the screams start. Unknown to them, a virus was just released into the City's waterworks, and infects thousands. However, the Hotel has been using it's own Water Reserve, and is left untouched by Viral Infection. Kevin draws his M1911 custom and readies it for his protection. Claire goes to her Suitcase by the Bed and removes a Browning Hi-Power and a knife. Kevin remarks that he hopes that this doesn't turn into another Raccoon City, as Claire responds with Ive already been there. Kevin says so have I. Looking out the window, the Chaos is easily found as hundreds of zombies are seen in the streets and buildings below.

Inside a mobile B.S.A.A. Helicopter is Alpha and Bravo team. They were heading to Miami due to the massive outbreak after Terrorist threat. The teams contained captains Chris Redfield and Shawn Roy. Alpha team was instructed to contain the threat in Miami, while Bravo team was asked to investigate a possible B.O.W. development plant on the nearby island. In Bravo Team is Rebecca Chambers, who was now fully trained and ready for her first major assignment. She didn't know many people in her squad, and she wasn't treated as well as she was when she was in STARS Bravo team, which was, a much smaller operations unit. However, she did notice that the mysterious man with the Grey hair seemed a tad suspicious. He was rather burly, but old. He was just in a corner of the large Helicopter, quiet, and not in any form of communication with the rest of Alpha. After a while, Alpha, with Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, three other members, and the Russian dropped down to a Rooftop in Miami. Rebecca waited then for the Helicopter to reach the drop point on the island. What she didn't realize these could be the last few minutes Bravo had left...
