Thanks for the welcome. Unfortunately yeah I've only played 5 and 6. I want to buy the rest but I didn't know if I should just get 1-4 or if I should buy all the others.

I would advice you to get all of them, including the spinoffs. CODE: Veronica is actually a main installment and chronologically takes place after 3. Dead Aim is awesome. Survivor has an amazing story. And dont forget Zerø cheers

Welcome to the forums. Speaking of 0-4, you should get into those in order to understand the story a little better. As for 4, you should definitely get it. I recommend it. It's still considered one of the best games in the series.

@Vandal - I don't see anything wrong with the Xbox controller either but I have to admit the PS3 controller is a lot more petite and the position of dual analogue
make it even more comfortable to use.
I can see how people with smaller hands would find it better (I'm only assuming female = smaller than male hands, not being sexist though lol)
It also is lightweight as hell and feels like your not even holding a controller.
Though I like the Xbox controller as well and in comparison to the original Xbox controller then the 360 is VERY downsized and lighter.

I have small hands and I prefer Xbox controller. I think it's mainly because of the weight of it. I like PS, but the controllers feel light to me now and it just feels like I'm crushing it.

You wish, I accidentally threw mine into a brick wall pretty hard and it still works like nothing had ever happened. That said, I also prefer the PS controller but propably only because that's the one I've almost exclusively used all these years.
