So it's a pirate-themed game. I should probably have expected that considering how AC3's naval combat was pretty good.

Still, AC3 didn't really wow me like AC2 and Brotherhood did (Revelations was a bit of a letdown, too), so I'll probably pass on this one.

I'd really like to see a midevil period. Think Army of Darkness.

Like a castle, knights in armour, maybe a Plague Doctor, all that good stuff.

I've never played any AC though.

The first AC took place in 1190 during the Third Crusade. And it's spelled medieval.

Yeah, I know what you mean. AC has been going down the drain since Revelations. Yearly release schedules are never good, not even for sports games.

i liked assassins creed 3 i think indians are cool in video games hell one of my fav games of all time is turok, but also im a fan of pirates, im looking forward to what this game is going to bring.

Me and my friends have a theory that after the unexplained ending with Desmond, he's going to be replaced by his son. He was a bartender before he entered the animus and they never actually said anything about his past.

I'm pissed that they didn't continue Connor's story. He was an awesome character, just because little 15 year old ezio fanboys didn't like him, we don't get anymore games with the guy.

I'm no Ezio fanboy and certainly not 15, but I still found Conner to not be that appealing as a player character.

I never did actually play those games.. although I should at least give them a try considering so many people seem to enjoy them. I have the first one, unopened on my shelf.. right now... staring at me, taunting me >.>

I bought it for my boyfriend one Christmas to find out he already had it, didn't like it, and gave it away. Forgot to return it so it's still there... years after..

Don't play the first one. It will make you hate the series.

My friend played the first one and he refuses to play any more, even tho me and my boyfriend have tried to explain that the rest are way better.

I suggest starting with the second one.

That's exactly what happened with me. I couldn't keep any interest in it (mostly because of the shoddy direct combat system), so I eventually just traded it in and avoided AC entirely until I played Brotherhood some years later at Nite's urging.
