do any of you think claire and/or jill will be in resident evil 7?

i ask this,because i have been thinking
and i honestly doubt jill will be on it,i say this because
she was in resident evil 5 and revelations,and i doubt capcom will use her
in the future instalement.......

and we really havent seen claire in a while,and i really want her to come back
i wish she was one of the main protagonists in the next resident evil title
i am afraid that capacom will just forget about her,i also wish barry will make a return at some point
even if he just made an small apperance in any future game

i just wanted to ask what do you think
will be the future for claire and jill in the series?
do any of you see them being a main character in any next major title?
(i am aware that jill was one of the main characters in revelations)

I kind of hope to see Jill, and Claire. IDK if we'll get both, but I'd like either one of them.

Jill, Claire, Jake, Alex and possibly Sherry or Chris are characters I might want in RE7.

Since Revelations is being ported that will give fans their Jill fix, so I hope we see more of Claire.

From my understanding: Claire is a pacifistic biochemist. She doesn't sound like a prime candidate to build full campaign around.

i am very aware of that,but i wish she would make a return
capcom could make up some reason why she has to comeback to fight
they are pretty good at that.....,i just want for capcom to bring some of the old characters

capcom is very unpredictable indeed,but i still doubt they will bring jill back
i just dont think after releasing revelations and her having a role in resident evil 5
whe will see her n a major title anytime soon,and chris wasnt in the picture for a while before
re5 was released,i would like to see jill and claire in resident evil 7 for shure

i dont mind if chris is on resident evil 7,i would like for capcom to end chris story
and move on with new characters

claire is a great character,she can still be well used

it sure did,i want to play it pretty badly

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Jill made an appearance in 7 while Claire won't. Why? Well Jill hasn't been mentioned in 6 AT all. 7 gives them a good opportunity to explain what she's been up to, she's also a fan favorite.

Also, if the Downfall and Final Hope rumors are true, then us Claire fans will have our fix.

That or, it will prep Claire fans for Resident Evil 7.

If Last Hope is true, then it will set the stage for Resident Evil 7, meaning if the rumor is true, she's totally booked for the next game.

I understand where you're coming from. I'm really disappointed with Resident Evil 6. I recently played Resident Evil 5 and was shocked how much better it was than the latest installment. I haven't touched Resident Evil 6 in a long time. I really hope this teaches Capcom that people don't buy Resident Evil as an action game. The series really does just try to fall in like with what's popular instead of trying to be innovative.

While I don't find RE6 to be as good as most of the other games, I still can't bring myself to say that I don't like it. I actually really like it tbh. It's a fun and addictive experience.

But it does kind of lack that quality that the other games have that make it infinitely replayable. Replaying RE6 isn't as fun as replaying the others.

i couldnt agree more with you,i was also disappointed with resident evil 6(yes i havent played it
but i have done my research and saw enough gameplay videos to make an opinion about it)

they should stop going with the flow and start getting more creative
i was really hoping resident evil 6 would be similar to lost in nightmares
this series are in its core about survival horror,its fine if they release
games that are mostly just action games,but they are over doing it

and i understand that the series have changed and wont go back to what they used to be
but still.....

some of the older games had a lot of replay value,like resident evil 4 and resident evil 2
i think the newer games arent has memorable
