Did Leon know???

In RE4, 6 years after RE2, where Leon and Ada had their one last kiss, Ada had supposedly died. Of course afterwards, during the mutated Super Tyrant Mr. X fight, a shadowy figure that is obviously Miss Wong, tosses down a rocket launcher to Leon, "Game over", one of his zingy one-liners.

I always assumed he had never seen her til RE4 when she was pointing his gun at his back. Of course there's also that other scene before that, where she saves you from Mendez, by shooting him through a window. Of course you don't even have to watch that scene if you don't go back in that room. "Woman in red. Somehow so familiar..."

It was the dialogue between Leon and Ada that made me wonder if he actually knew about her not being dead, before they met up again in RE4 in the Salazar Castle after the hedgemaze.

Leon: "Ada! So it is true."

Ada: "True?"

Leon: "You, workin' with Wesker."

Ada: "I see you've been doing your homework."

Leon: "Why Ada?"

It seems like he knew of her and Wesker's collaboration before this. Maybe the government was keeping tabs on her, or just keeping an eye on her, I mean, surely someon like her was on the government's radar. Same with Albert.

If so, maybe Leon actually knew of Ada's current status. They might not have actually met up, like they apparently had between RE4 and Damnation, but still, 6 years, and he may have known about his love being alive. Hmmm....

Also, I like the similarities between the Leon/Ada reunion, and the Chris/Wesker reunion from CVX.

This was probably done on purpose.

I figured he already knew because he wasn't happy to see her.

Possibly, maybe it is written in a file somewhere in of the games?

Well he wasn't ecstactic or anything, but maybe he was kind of happy? I mean, I wouldn't have expected Leon to get a big grin, "Ada!? Oh hey. " or even a little smirk like in this pic.

Nope. Nowhere. You only see her once before they meet up, and it doesn't even say it's her, you just see some chick in a red dress, with a lot of leg exposed. Then when you examine the window she was shooting from it just says, "Woman in red, somehow so familiar..."

Maybe....Just Maybe.....The next RE will be a Prequel, explaining this very situation! It doesn't have to be RE7, but It would be nice to see it. PLOT HOLES. Plot holes Everywhere! (not)

It's probably because survivors of other biohazard outbreaks work together and relay info and that is why he knew Ada was involved with Wesker, as at the time he was just a 'gullible' officer without a clue, like Annette said. And as time went by, he got to find out more about the very company he helped bring down.
