The scene in the original where we first discover the zombie mauling on Kenneths head.
That or the first time we meet Nemesis and he kills Brad.

I'll only add the opening of RE3. That's a cutscene, right?
Btw. The knife fight in RE4 is propably my most hated QTE ever in gaming history.

If we can include cut games the cut-scene that occurs when the zombies break into the front lobby in 1.5 basically times up and now their coming into the precinct to eat you, the intro from the first Resident Evil there are way to many for me to count.

Got to many. The first zombie scene in RE The hunter coming for you in RE The opening scene in RE2 Licker scene in RE2 The annette scene when she tells the story of William and you get to see the events from when William injected the G-virus in RE2. Nemisis (including the tram scene) in RE3 Alfred's girly laugh in CV Blockbuster-slow-mo-smashing through a window Bruce Willis style -whilst screaming like a high pitched arnie and gunning like a boss *gasp* Steve Burnside saving Claire from the bandersnatch scene in CV.

The opening cutscene for the original RE, laugh if you want but in my opinion, it gives off a bigger sense of dread than Remake's opening.
I also love the opening to Resident Evil 3 showing the downfall of the RPD.

I wish I could pick just one... but I can't. There is WAY to many. But this cut scene is a favorite because of the simple fact my childhood. I remember seeing this the first time, seeing NEMESIS for the first time. And I was like "RUN! run, run, run!" lol

Wesker vs Sheva and Chris in the plane at the end of RE5. The beginning of RE: Outbreak first scenario. The endings of RE: Outbreak both file 1 and 2.

Some really good ones mentioned specially the introduction of Nemesis. Think I am going to have to go with the opening video to Remake. Action, story, violence, betrayal, friendship it has it all.

I don't really have a single favourite cut scene... My favourite cut scenes are:
1. Brad's death to the hands of the Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. 2. Steve checking out Claire's ass while she uses the computer on Chapter 1 of 'Game Of Oblivion' scenario on Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (wish my girlfriend has an ass like that! Peachy!) 3. The first zombie you meet in the mansion on Resident Evil (GameCube remake version), the first time I saw this cut scene, I was amazed how good the GameCube's potential really was! 4. The scene where Hunk and his troops steal the G Virus samples from William Birkin in Resident Evil 2 and he injects himself with the virus. 5. The zombies appear from out of their graves in the opening moments of Resident Evil Code: Veronica. First time I played this on the Dreamcast, I was blown away by 'realism'...yeah...graphics are even better now though...

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that one. I have to agree with you on that...he was much stronger and faster than the other zombies round him too!

I liked all the cut scenes from RE 4 especially the one's where ada made appearances. I thought they will never be explained and remain mysterious. But was satisfied after playing separate ways.In RE 5 though i did not enjoy cutscenes cuz i spoiled myslef through internet.

So did I. I was thinking about CV and remembered that scene. It was played on E3 teasers as well, that made me scarred of playing the game before it was even out. Yeah he was, it was scary enough knowing that in the next few seconds you would have to face him but then it cut's the gameplay and he is basically running towards you lol. That part of CV was pretty gruesome with the whole torture chambers and blood stained areas. It is a game that wont even stop haunting me lol.

I know what you mean Mcghie. That's probably the main reason why I had to download it again on the PlayStation Store! (That and the fact it was trophy supported!)
But I think another cut scene I will add in (for the time-being, at least) is the opening scene to Leon and Helena's scenario where Leon has to shoot the President in the Resident Evil 6 Public Release demo. So far, the game is looking awesome! Come on October 2nd!
