Yeahhh, everyone is talking about Peirs looking too much like a younger version of Chris. Honestly, he looks so boring. Hope he doesn't appear in anymore games after this.

The most funniest one was the FMV in Resident Evil 2 where the zombie in the back of the police car is the same model as Leon haha.

I'm not sure if this counts but seeing how Devil May Cry was supposed to be Resident Evil 4, I still see Dante as an alternate universe Leon.

I recently picked up the DMC HD collection and Dante just reminds me of Leon so much; the fact that DMC was supposed to be Resident Evil 4 doesn't help either.

My god, I literally HATE yaoi fangirls (and fanboys wtf). I just...I could literally shoot them with a semi automatic pistol and laugh my ass off while doing it.

I'm not sure about Pier's yet or Jake for that matter. I'll have to play the game first. I can't judge them completely from a couple trailers. lol

Also, I personally don't have a problem with yaoi or the fans of it. Heck, I'm even one (Please don't shoot). But I thought this was really funny. lol

I see where your coming from with that.
I disagree with it though.
I refuse to let Leon's take any part in Dante's bad ass persona.
Maybe Leon's style of one liners but that's about it.
Dante is far to cool and collective, overall just a complete bad ass

I love Devil May Cry. I can see Leon and Dante being a like in the first game considering like you said that DMC came out of trying to make RE4. But other then that... the rest of the games not so much. lol

Well I only got half way through DMC2 so far. The games are great but sometimes during a cutscene, there's a close up of Dante and I'm just like "Holy cow, that's Leon." exit cutscene and it's all better.

It's just that DMC has just about as much story in the games as the back of the DVD case of Transformers 2, nothing is really explained, DMC2 moreso, but this is just all too inconvenient for Dante's character. It doesn't seem to be very well built. I take the game as an experience ride, and not to be told some sort of story.

I guess that's why they're trying to expand on his story by going back to the beginning in DMC5.

I thought they said that DMC5 was like an alternate Universe. Plus, didn't they already do that with DMC3?

Last I heard they said it's a prequel.

I heard about it being an origin story, but also it took place in a different universe.

That's what I've heard too. I think it was confirmed to be a "reboot". I'm still bummed about that whole thing.
