What's your favourite RE game and one's have you played or own ? Kudos on the avatar, does that mean your a fan of Degeneration ?
I've played RE2 (a looong time ago), RE4, RE5, and ORC. Also, I own all of these mentioned except for RE2. However, I do know the story behind the games I have not played from watching let's plays etc. Thanks, I did like Degeneration, seems like not a whole lot of other people did but I guess it all depends what you like and what you don't like |

You should give Code veronica, REmake, RE1 and RE3 a try, you might enjoy the variety in these titles. Have you ever played any of the non-cannon titles ? Yeah most people love the the films, far more superior to the live-action movies, you will quickly find out the hate most of us carry for the live actions. There is some members on here that are fans of the live actions though. |

They're okay zombie flicks I guess, but that's about all they are to me. I think Degeneration appealed to me more because I got to see Leon and the actual Claire I was used to. |

You should, it is an amazing game. If you own a xbox or PS3 I suggest getting the HD version of it. If not then I suggest the original DreamCast version, I like that one better because I love the DreamCast and I'm a bit different from everyone else. Code Veronica X for the PS2 is good but it generally only has a few more cutscenes etc. As for the non-cannon titles you might enjoy the outbreak's. They are a whole new experience from the tradtional RE titles and have more of a survival element to them. They might be a little frustrating at first but perseverance the key with them. I liked the first one, the rest where garbage and shouldn't even bear the title of "Resident Evil" I don't want to go into a big rant about the lie action's so I will leave it there. |

I didn't know code veronica was available for xbox Yeah it was released on the xbox 360 and PS3 as part of the HD collection. You can buy the pack which has Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4 (both HD versions) Or you can buy them individual. I only got CV itself because RE4 to me did not look very good. I have RE4 on the PC with high-res texture patches and it looks far beyond what Capcom done, so I didn't want to waste money on it.

I bought RE4 on the marketplace and played through it. I had already beaten it on the PS2 though. I've actually looked for code veronica before in the "R" section for Resident Evil, I probably should've checked "C" |

The T-0400TP from File#2 even appeared in Chronicles. I consider them as non-cannon. Since Outbreak's storyline never added to the main storyline, that to me shows it's non cannon. The game-play however fitted in perfectly around RE2 and 3. |

We got to know more of Nicholai's mission and saw where the T-0400TP came from. We also got some more insight on the nights in Raccoon. Besides, neither Survivor nor Dead Aim never contributed anything to the main storyline but they are still officially canon. |

True and it was good for that background information but I mean from an official point of view they never acknowledged it within the timeline. In fact know that I'v thought about it with a open mind then it should be cannon. It always felt like Resident Evil and not different whilst you where playing it and it wasn't just some other companies product with Resident Evil elements within it like ORC.
