| Alright, I finally started playing RE 3, and i've got a question that has been concerning me. Should I put the assault rifle in the item box until I know a boss is coming, or should I carry it with me and use it like I would the pistol? |

| There aren't any boss battles to worry about during the Carlos segment. You're pursued by Nemesis after getting the vaccine, but you can avoid him completely until the very last moment when you happen upon him trying to break down the door to get to Jill (even then, a single shot from the handgun will cause it to turn its attention away for you to enter the chapel). You will face some Hunters and maybe a couple packs of walkers in the hospital, though, so I'd recommend saving the M4 for those. |

| yeah save the m4 for the hunters in the hospital and dont fight the nemesis,he can be easly avoided also there is an part in the hospital when you open the elevator and a lot of zombies rush at you, giving you no space to run,so you should really save your m4 for the hospital for the most part |

So far, I've just been using the pistol and the shotgun, the only time I used the M4 so far was when a pack of dogs came after me. |

| yeah, the nemesis is easly avoided in the game in the last fight the only thing you will need is waybe a few grenade launcher rounds or a couple of magnum shots and he is dead, but in hard mode if you beat him,he will give you meapon parts over the course of the game

| I agree with Ghost Leader, save the assault rifle for when you get to the hospital. |

Yeah it would seem to work out better if they do that. |

| Easy in RE3 feels like cheating. Hard is kind of like normal... |

Well, if one wants to play easy, I'm not gonna bust their chops for it. I've never played it on anything but hard, though, so I wasn't aware of the huge supply of ammo and weapons you get until Spike told me about it recently. |

| Once I beat the game, I'm gonna go back and play it on Hard. That's usually how I play games |

| Just keep in mind that hard is actually the normal mode. But yeah, just play however you want . |

| If you want to conserve ammo then dont kill eveything in site, learn some speedrun tactics and only shot when you know you cant get past enemies, this way you will always have a stock pile of guns and ammo for when bosses or harder enemies come along. |

and only shot when you know you cant get past enemies, this way you will always have a stock pile of guns and ammo for when bosses or harder enemies come along. That's mainly what I've been doing. Really the only enemies I've killed so far are dogs and zombies who I can't avoid. |

| I think you'll be pleasently surprised at how UNchallenging RE3 is on hard. I use to be part of the RE challenger forums and attempted hard mode with a knife only. I managed to do it though I struggled. The game can be easily completed with just a handgun even on hard mode. However different people find each game different for difficulty. For example I've heard people saying CVX is the easiest though I find it difficult sometimes. I think 0 is quite difficult too. |

The game I have the most difficulty with is RE2. Not because I get killed alot, not because I get lost. But at the end of the game, its always this EVERY FREAKING TIME I EITHER FORGET TO SAVE AMMO OR DON'T GRAB THE SPECIAL WEAPON!!!!!!!!! My examples: Leon's Disc- Ran out of ammo for all weapons Claire's Disc- Forgot the grenade launcher and only have bowgun ammo |
