Guys have you heard of the rumored resident evil downfall for 3ds?
i thin you'll all like it because it stars as claire..

Revelations was a hit that's why, and at least we're getting resident evil on a handheld, for what i assume, capcom doesn't like their resident evil on a handheld, like the terrible gaiden, cancelled GBA color RE, or infamous RE2 in tiger.com, but except the deadly silence because it's great but a remake, let's not also forget that they didn't want to make an RE for psp. Let capcom be happy for awhile with the 3ds and me because i have a 3ds

To me problem with those handheld consoles are that I never get "into the game" unless there's some good reason or occasion to play it, ie long regular bus or train trips. I just can't sit in my living room and play something from a few inches screen. I always get so restless.
I bought modded PSP for the duration of my military service. It was awesome at night watch; sitting in the middle of a dark forest with headphones on, playing PS1 Resident Evils and Silent Hills, even some Final Fantasies. It was awesome when I basically had nothing else to do; no PS3 with 52" flatscreen, or computer.

then just rest that giant tv for awhile and stick to a portable
and now that you said it i wish there would be an international game only day or game month or something for all the gamers

Anyway, I'm not sure how good the game will be if it comes out later this year. That's not enough time to make a really good RE game. If they decided to make this because of the success of Revelations, that means they'll have barely a year to get this finished if it comes out in October.

rumors say it's due this year, which i would be happy if it was true. But yeah, they have very little time to work on downfall considering how revelations took a year i think after mercenaries. Maybe all staff are focused on downfall. But i can't really be sure, we'll just have to wait till further notice...................

Sheesh how did I miss this topic? Anyway I sure hope this is true! It would be so nice to see Claire back and in action. But on the 3DS and within this year? That seems a bit close what with RE6 here in October now and the release of ORC. If it's real and does come out this year it'd be after RE6 unless they put a serious rush on it.

It will be after 6 because it will include Damnation, which is also released after 6. My guess is that they are going to release the DVD/Bluray version first so it'd either be very late this year or go to next year.

Hey if this happens around about the time of my b-day I'll buy it for myself and play it all day and watch Damnation.

Now that I think about it though, all of these RE releases at one time and so close together. Is it possible that maybe, perhaps, the series is finally about to come to a close?

Propably not. It was during an interview at one point that the executives said that they'd like to make multiple RE games at a time to keep the fans busy while they prepare for the next set.

Really? That's cool I'll be one who will keep busy with everything at one time. I've still yet to beat RER and ORC fully. Kinda want to hop back on my RE5 Gold Edition train and play that again. So many RE games I have that I need to both finish and want to play.

Glad I wasn't on your squad. Somebody who doesn't take night watch seriously is bound to get others ambushed and killed.

THey just need to over all stop making re games for the ds idont have one nor the money and half the population that has a ds has a core system they could play it in enstead of the damn ds. Don't get me wrong the ds Is cool and I love some of the games made for it but not resident evil

Excuse me? Nintendo 3DS is more better than other console like Wii. So I suggest that they stop doing RE Games on Wii, that's my opinion.

I agree with that to. And you know there makeung the wii umbrella chronical gameforplaying on ps3

They're actually porting both of the Chronicles games on PS3.

And in my opinion I would rather play a game on a nice big screen then a tiny one, don't care much for what console it's on but the bigger the screen, the better.

I'm not going to lie. I enjoy the RE chronicles games on the Wii.

You didn't know? Yeah, they're porting them as Resident Evil HD Chronicles and it's basically going to be the same thing as was with Revival Selection: retail version in Japan and downloadable everywhere else. Just wait for June 26th. Here's a link to an article: [link]
