What do do with the ORC patches

I got the special edition of ORC (haven't started playing it for a number of reasons, noe have to directly do with the game itself). Of course included were the USS and Spec Ops patches. They are really well done, but I feel kind of awkward wearing them, as they look far too realistic and professional. The Spec Ops one especially; I don't want to be approached by a veteran who thought I had served. At best, telling him that they were from a video game might be awkward, and might lead to someone being seriously offended at worse. I am not at a very happy point in my life, and I will react in a very toxic manner to anyone who attacks me over a perceived insult that I did not intend.

Maybe I'm overreacting on this, but I just wish the producers of the game had made patches that were of equal quality but clearly about something fictional.

They would go great with a jean jacket with a bunch of band patches around it. lol

Maybe it would be best to not wear them at all than? I keep my BSAA patch from when I reserved RE5 tucked away personally myself but for no particular reason.

If the opinions of others and how you may react worries you, for now just keep 'em tucked away until you feel sure you want to wear them. And if you are asked that about them you feel like explaining.
