Advice Forum

So I've been going through the last few pages of the Off Topic forum and it has occurred to me that perhaps we should add an "Advice Forum." I believe Nite Krawler suggested such a thing a few months ago, or so I read in a thread. Just as a sub-forum to off-topic to keep all advice threads in there. So what does everyone think of this idea?

Yeah, maybe we got enough of all of that right now.

I think we do have an aequate number of threads dedicated to that stuff specifically.

Besides, how it would work, as far as is there a single appointed individual who gives out advice, or can anybody do it, etc.

Yes only because im fed up of seeing ZombiePrincess pathetic threads. Ot at least make an advice thread so it isnt clogging up the forum with shit.

I don't think having a single appointed individual would be a good idea, I'm just saying. I think it would be better to let anyone reply with their own advice, but that's just me. Members who don't want to give or request advice could just not use the forum, and it wouldn't fill the OT forum with advice topics.

That's another thing. I don't want to encourage users to give advice either. Most of the time, their advice would make matters worse.

Really? Most of the advice I've seen given is good, like "You don't need someone like that, you could always do better, just move on."

No he's right. I recall reading somebody giving advice once that was totallly horrible...I think it was Ace.
