| Anyone planning on buying one? I've been kicking it around but after paying the 250.00 for the 3DS after it came only to it drop I might just wait. Sadly handhelds are on their way out due to smartphones. |

| If Revelations is ported to it, then I would consider it. Anyway it will just turn out to be like the PSP eventually. When the PSP launched it got top class games and then two years later all we were getting was the likes of fucking Wipeout. Load of balls. |

| I just don't understand why they can't make a system like this and give it the ability to support texting or phone calls. Sure you can download Skype to it but it would be nice if this had the option to make it the total package. You can get it 3G capable so why not? I just don't see how this is gonna compete with other devices like smart phones. Hmmm a PSVita that plays games,video,and has 3G for $300.00 or upgrade my contract and get a new Iphone for the same price but it has 4G and can make phone calls. |

They tried that, it was called the N-Gage, it failed miserably. |

| Sony made one too (Sony erricson Xplay). It sold better than the N-Gage of course lol. The problem with these phones is that the gaming function is always the secondary feature. Why not make a handheld that is also a phone? Just how the Vita has the Wifi or the 3G version why not have a handheld in a standard "gaming" fromat and then one that could support a cell phone carrier? You would be able to hit both markets and actually compete with smartphones. |
