Fail? I think not. That second part was referring to war.

Okay, you still said you would never resort to using a weapon. Even in war? And a regular fight is not about getting the job done? Right.

Yeah, in a fight... Like I said before, "war is a completely different story" in reply to Ghost Leader who had previously brought up marines since they use weapons.

Seeing as I'm not a murderer, I wouldn't go for the kill. At least not so easily. A fight doesn't automatically mean to the death. It's more of putting a punk in their place. So, depending on how threatening my enemy is, I will either kick their ass, show them that they fucked with the wrong guy, or kick their ass and have the authorities deal with them. A weapon doesn't make you invincible, even marines aren't invincible. You need the proper skills and smarts. I'll never resort to using a weapon, because that's a sign of weakness.
And I'll say this again, war is a completely different story. More is at stake and it's army vs army. It's not about honor or dignity. It's about getting the job done.

Last I checked, we were discussing Sheva Alomar and her AI in Resident Evil 5.
Which is no different to Chris's AI.

Okay, you know how to quote. Kind of. You said you would never resort to using a weapon. Even in a normal fight apparently. But that is dumb. If the one you are fighting has a knife, you wouldn't even grab a stick or bat to stun them long enough to disarm them? Sure, you might be able to do it without a weapon, but why risk it? Dignity apparently.

Apparently I'm gonna pull weapons out of my ass... I don't need a weapon. The only reason one will have a weapon is because they are threatened and feel defenseless without some sort of back up. It's the equivalent of ganging up on someone and feeling hard. I'm not saying that you can't grab a weapon if the other guy has a weapon (assuming your a clown who can pull such things out of your ass), because that's fine. But personally, I don't need it. Because in the end, when I stand victorious, the guy with his weapon shoved in his ass looks even shittier.

Right. Whatever you say. I'd love to see you go toe to toe with a green beret or spetsnaz unarmed.

You don't even know what you're saying anymore... Well, when I find myself fighting a Green Beret or a Spetsnaz (don't even know why I'll be fighting one of those guys to begin with or why we're still on the topic of Soldiers) I'll let you know how it goes.
And I have no clue as to what the dialogue is supposed to prove. What, people can talk?

Even in a "regular" fight (whatever that is), I'd rather concern myself more with ending it or getting out of it without injury to myself than risk my well being just to "put the other guy in his place". If that means cracking the SOB over the head with a brick, I'm damn sure not going to hesitate. Proving personal pride can get you hurt or even killed.
Now, shall we slay this monster I've created and get back to Sheva now?

Everyone is different. I never saw why there was ever a need for an argument to begin with. Some can handle themselves others can't. What's the big deal? Who the hell is anyone to tell me what I can or cannot do? I've been through enough to know what I can handle. But no, it can't end with me knowing myself better than anyone else. Someone will say things like, "fight this" and "fight that and then tell me if you don't need a weapon"... So childish.
But yes, on to Sheva. I'll start, Daaaaaaaamn! That ass.

Well since Turo had to throw that last bit of vent into it before accepting your offer to move on, I guess I won't hold my tongue either.
That's the smartest way to go about it GL. Of course, I might in the moment just put the fool in his place.

I'm not trashing you in any way. If it felt that way, I apologize as it was in no way my intention to do so. My ideology is survival over personal pride and my first thought if someone intends to hurt me is to make him/her unable to do so rather than to prove I'm "better", because doing so could get me hurt or even killed.

Well I wasn't trying to trash you either. Or tell you what you could or could not do. For all I know, you could win every fight in the world without using a weapon. My issue was the fact that you seem to be saying that in a regular fight, like on a street against some dumb punk, you will always win without a weapon every time. I felt like you were saying that if some random dude had a bat and was attacking you, and there happened to be another bat laying near you, that you would be like "I don't need the bat" and try to fight with your bare hands. In which case I would say you'd be brown bread more often than not.
