| Greetings, please call me Genetics or DG, even Deadly is fine. I'd been stalking this place for a while now and have finally decided to create an account and join your community. I'll start off by saying I love Resident Evil but am a tad behind in keeping up to date with it. I haven't bought a game since Darkside Chronicles I believe and just finally completed Resident Evil 5. Oh so sad was I when I had to finish off Wesker. *has a teary eyed moment* But anywho lets see what else... Ah I draw. A lot. And am working on a story here and there when I can manage the time. I'm also fairly good at graphics and the like but once again that's when I can spare the time.
So welcome me with open arms! ... Or baring teeth and claws! Hugs are liked too. :3 |

| Eeeh... I usually go for the Survivor but sure, have you played the Outbreaks? I just figured she knows that stuff already as she mentioned DSC and RE5 being her last, out of which DSC is already one spinoff |

| Yes, I have both Outbreak and Outbreak File #2 and rather enjoy playing them. I wish I had been able to play it online though before the service rooms were removed... I heard the lack of communication (the poor dialogue you were given to use) and certain players made the online play unbearable though. :/ But Lone Wolf mode is awesome! I actually hated Resident Evil when I first started playing when I was 13, I first played Code Veronica for the Dreamcast and kept dieing. -.- So I gave up and went back to Dino Crisis. Which I later bought and discovered it came with a Resident Evil 3: Nemisis demo disk! 8D Played that and been hooked ever since. Finally I learned the power of typewriters and all that good jazz. |

Is it really a spinoff? The Chronicles series is a spinoff series of RE, just like the Survivor and Outbreak series'. @DG: Isn't Dino Crisis hella hard? I've never gotten far in it. |

@DG: Isn't Dino Crisis hella hard? I've never gotten far in it. I've never really found Dino Crisis as difficult as Resident Evil. Aside from the t-rex and the one type of dino you encounter that likes to crush your throat after it knocks you down I found it to be a lot of fun and love playing it over and over again. Now Dino Crisis 2 is good too, there's more dinosaurs in it and you travel through a forest like area and a couple different buildings trying to find your way back home. But what area are you having trouble with? I can help you and give a few pointers. - Spike991 wrote:

Well clearly you were scoping this place out before you joined, so I wonder, what is it that made you decide to finally create a profile and all that and join? |

| Couple of things: 1.) I purely love Resident Evil, and your forum is one of the best ones I have come across since I was... I dunno. 16? 2.) I contemplated for so long about joining because I'm not on the computer as much as I once was, so I'd have hated to make an account and join only to be hardly involved in anything. I work in a warehouse type environment so I'm dead at the end of my shift. Come home, eat a little something, pass out. That's my routine after work until the next day strolls around. Unless like these past few nights I'm awake and sneak some time in. 3.) I haven't been apart of a 'forum' like this since I joined SonicAnime.net (which I don't even know if that board is still up and running at this point). So I kinda wondered if I could get back into the habit of 'posting' like I once did. No, it's not hard to post, I just like to be involved with more than just 2 or 3 posts a topic. 4.) It's nice to be around people who share a common interest. At my job and with the few friends I have (I'm an introvert, I stick to myself and read a lot. I use words that at least 85% of my fellow co-workers alone just do not understand the meanings there of ) I can talk about it but they're not as... I wanna say 'enthusiastic' as I, myself, am. And it'd be a bit odd to just walk up to some random person on the street and suddenly blurt out all the things I like about a certain game series. I love Resident Evil, but despise the movies, I've played every game I've been able to get my hands on, wheather I own it by now or not, and have been looking for the books when I can afford to look. And when I say afford I say it in a way that I intend to buy it once I find it. I own Resident Evil 4 on three different platforms... PS2, Wii and Gamecube. Come on! I have Resident Evil 5 in a very special metal case that I got when I pre-ordered it along with the hard cover guide. Which I've never looked at until I got to Wesker in his mutated state as I sadly died a grand total of 13 times at his hand... Well technically it was Sheva. He kept throwing her into the lava below and of course she's my 'partner' so bleh! I have quite a bit stashed away in the basement, tucked nice and safe away in a container so nothing can ever happen to it. And that my good sir, are my reasons for finally deciding to join your lovely soirée. See you learned a little bit about my personal self as well there. And if I come off as a smart ass at any time just thwap my head and I'll zip it. I don't mean anything by it just some things I say or how I word things apparently make me come off as one. |

| About the Dino Crisis part, I've actually never gotten past the raptors at the beginning On the other hand, I can still breeze through RE games. Maybe I should try the game again, at least now I know where to ask for help Say, have you played Dino Stalker? I'm thinking of getting that myself. - DeadlyGenetics wrote:

Awesome I had a few other things, but I was afraid of dragging my post down and down with reasons why. So I picked a few of the main ones! And when I said I 'despised' the movies it's more like a really strong dislike. But only the live action ones, I like Degeneration. |
