Resident Evil 4 HD and Resident Evil Code Veronica HD!

Do you agree that there was a signifigant difference in the change in the graphics in Code Veronica HD compared too the original?

Resident Evil 4 HD was a dissapointment becuase i could hardly tell it apart from the non HD version

Leon's hair actually looks like hair in RE4 HD.

Code Veronica HD felt like a whole new game

I'm not so sure about it, sure they look pretty but they ripped me off so my advice would be if you have the original, then keep it and dont get the HD revamp. That's happening to heaps of games lately. i could'nt even tell the visual difference in Splinter Cell HD Trilogy compared to the original versions. RE4 and CVX HD will probably be released on the same disc at some point in the future anyway. I suppose that these HD remakes are for newcomers more than they are for fans.

I think they're to people who either never had the first games or just sold them with their old consoles when they got the newer ones.

I do agree, there's no need to get an HD port if you already have the originals. I mean, it's the exact same game really. Just prettier.

Visually its nice to see and good experience, but except from that there is not much else you get
from the games that you haven't already experience.

Also I dont rate the RE4 HD much and think capcom could have made a better job at it if they were not being so lazy.
I think the focus was on CV to be honest.
I also have a RE4 HD patch made by a modder and it is (sorry for the language) FUCKING gorgeous, cant
remember the creator's name but kudo's on the job well done, it must have took him ages.
It was probably one of the members over at z6.invisionfree they have talented RE modders and was usually
the local haunt for dominoin and the DB dev team. I still keep checking to this day to see if theres DB news,
sadly there never is

I think they both look great compared to their PS2 counterparts (the console I played them both originally on).

I have multiple versions of re4 and code veronica and still intend to get the HD ports, cuz im a collector like that.

unfortunately its a bit hard to do when you have to download this junk....

It's not happening for North America. It's download only. I think only in Japan is it on a disc.

i think back to my story with Archives on Wii. i bought both japan vetsions, thinking that would be the only way, only to hear about the US versions like a week later.

There are rumors about the games getting retail releases outside Japan too.

Those are just rumors though.

I downloaded this on PSN even though I already have it for the PS2. Still a great game after all these years and still shits on many ps3 games.

Nah, CV is one of the best RE games IMO.

no i just thought the HD factor did not make much of a difference too RE4 but overall its a more fun and better game. when i played code veronica in HD it did kinda feel like a different game compared too the original non HD version but RE4 just felt the same as before even in high defenintion.

Nah just RE4 as I couldnt be bothered to go through Code Veronica all over again as its a hard game.

It has but no, it's not on Adult Swim. It's just a kids show and it's on the Hub (though I watch it on YT). I just happen to enjoy it Razz
