Punk rock fans - check out my band's RE song!

Hey guys, I'm in an RE-obsessed band called Hold Your Fire! and we've just released our debut album, I wanted to share a track with you called "Raccoon City". It tells the story of the first RE game. I wrote the song so would love to hear your comments on it. Is it the first RE tribute song?!

Great job,and I don't think anyone else has made a RE tribute song.I don't think Weird Al has even made fun of it yet.Are all of your songs going to be RE oriented?

The band is named after Leon's line in RE2, and we wrote a sweet instrumental based around the save room theme called "Ink Ribbon" (title track off our first EP - you may appreciate the album cover as well - I think you can stream a sample at www.holdyourfire.co.uk - it's track 5, go to 'albums' on the player on the left hand side). But no, a lot of it isn't RE based, we're all fanatics and it seemed fitting to pay homage in a couple of ways

EDIT Mass Distraction - I like the RE track you linked to, it's very cool! Glad to hear there are more RE-inspired musicians out there too.

Great song. I usually don't like stuff from bands I don't know well. I was hoping for a Tyrant reference though.

Just listened to this. I love this song! Well done.

I also liked the Ink Ribbon track. I'll check out the rest soon enough.

Just FYI, I sent the song to my friend and he liked it too, even though he isn't much of a RE fan (he has only played Gaiden and Code: Veronica).
