How many of you have played this? What did you think?
It's available for download for $8 on Amazon, or $10 on Steam, if you haven't played it yet. Well worth it, I would say. It's probably the scariest game I've ever played. I'm only a quarter through the game so far, but it's a game that is so scary it makes me not want to play. Just last night I was playing it with a friend (we were taking turns) and when it came to be his turn, he didn't want to play. Haha!
To get an idea of what it's like if you have no idea what this game is or what it's about, here's a teaser:
It's worth noting that I didn't really "get it" until I was in a dark room, alone, in an empty house. God, that's terrifying.

Wow, this is a bit of a coincidence. I just yesterday started playing this game.
I've been playing it with my friend on Ventrilo. I'm laughing my ass off when he starts screaming out loud when something scary happens It's a scary game for sure, but personally I've found most Silent Hill games to be scarier. Maybe I've just numbed myself after all these years of being a horror fan.
Favorite part thus far is in the cellar where you have to avoid water.

I've been watching it played on youtube. Great atmosphere and interesting gameplay.

Hah, I heard a lot about "the water part" before I played through it, I didn't find it the least bit scary. Oh God, something invisible is splashing behind me! I'm far more terrified of the things lumbering around the castle that I have to hide in cupboards from.
Speaking of playing over Ventrilo and screaming, if you haven't seen this yet, you need to:

The hell, are you living my life?!
My roommate and I died laughing watching that video, so we both decided to split the cost to get the game. $4 each later, we got it and took turns playing it in the dark.
I've since become distracted with Portal 2, but I'm coming back to it for sure.

What an even bigger coincidence that I have also seen that video before and made this boxart.
