Hey all, nekronuke here from NMD Devteam. We are in the Conceptual stage of an RPG, RTS fusion. You begin the game by yourself, and slowly build up your hovel, and ten move towards a fortification, hiring mercenaries, arming an army, building vehicles. There are four factions.

Four Factions

The Scavengers
A loosely held together conglomerate of common raiders and thieves, under the protection of the UN-US shield. They mainly raid the ancient ruins of the US cities for technology and scrap. They all do strenuous experimentation with electromagnets, resulting in special electromagnetic weapons.

The UN-US Shield Remnants
The Military muscle that struggled to protect the United States from the huge influx of drug cartels, and revolutionaries from communist China, Korea, and terrorists from the Middle East. A group of hackers from Russia and China hacked the CIA and DHS computer systems and stole the codes to our ICBM silo launch terminal, and fired them wildly. Not knowing where they had targetted fully, they had blasted most countries with nuclear ICBMS. The UN-US shield was decimated. Now they have the best technology, and fight back the infected from killing the scavengers and civilians. They use Pre-War supertechnology and can reverse-engineer enemy tech.

Heavy Metal Missionaries
A group of the scavengers that found god. They also found a hatred for the infected. They despised the UN-US shield for keeping them from fighting the Infected, and whilst leaving, found a huge military complex in the desert mountains. In it were untold secrets, and power that the UN wouldn't be able to stop. They specialize in Pre-War technology and incendiary weapons.

The Infected
The hospitals in America were full. The sick and dying thought they'd find mercy in death as the nuclear Armageddon destroyed their hospital. Some weren't as lucky. They became zombielike infected. They live to spread their contagion, and kill the luckier survivors who werent affected. THey reproduce through spawns or by infecting others, and they have no structures, only specialized nodes that do the jobs that other factions have (Power, supply, control, training) They have special contagion weapons that turn enemy infantry into infected. Spores can infest vehicles

The Pre-War Superweapons-


Before the war, huge factories were abandoned, holding the schematics for powerful super units, called Epic Units by modern soldiers.

The Hailstorm-
A massive hovership, with a ring of columns beneath. This ring of columns are 155mm cannons that rain death below. It cannot fire while moving, but can fire plasma-flak missiles against other air units. The hailstorm's special ability is to fire a large incendiary bomb downward in the middle of the ring of columns.

Project NightMare-
A huge spider mecha. With two front mounted laser gattling cannons, and a tesla bolter (fires bolts, and electricity arcs between them) that makes this a formidable foe. It is not defenseless from behind, however. Its quadruple spinaret cannons fire bolts that fire string between nearby bolts. Any units touched by this string are stuck fast, but can still fire. The bolts can be destroyed.

Archangel V2x-
A large oval dome on treads. It has dermal regeneration nanite generators mounted outside and inside, healing all allied units nearby, and instantly within. Can transport huge amounts of infantry, and a moderate amount of vehicles. Can launch defensive drones, which are slightly armored infantry armedwith miniguns. The Archangel is any infantry general's best friend.


Questions, Comments?
We are currently in the conceptual stage until we have the money to buy a GUI coding platform that suits our exact needs. Does anyone here know a good coding platform to base the game off of? we're going for simple, possibly with a GUI. Until we find a suitable one, we have one with a complex GUI thats free, but theres one with a simple GUI thats easier, but $40.

Remember, you start alone, and build up. Superweapons, and epic units are many hours into the game. that why there are so few (each faction also has one)
