| So here's my situation:
I paid 30 euros for RE5 from steam and downloaded it without problems. Installed it and started it up to play. I press start, getting excited to finally play the PC version of a game I've waited ages for to play. Getting forced to make a Windows Live account, which is fine, then I start it up again. Getting to the first menu, pressing start. A new menu pops up. and I press "Play game" For some reason this makes the previous menu pop up. making me press start again, and there is a endless cycle of pressing start game and play game. It makes me completely unable to play it. It's like a bad joke.
Got any ideas or thoughts around the subject? Any of you had this problem before? |

| Buy a PS3. Then buy RE5 for it. Then play. Fixed! |

| That would be the right choice. Though I don't think there are refunds for downloaded games so yeah... Have you tried googling the matter?
I usually like my stuff as something I can put on a shelf with my other collection so I really can't help with this. |

| Well, the problem is fixed. For some unreasonable reason the game would always return me to the first menu with left clicking on the mouse, but apparently right clicking is the way to go... Yeah, I don't get it. I can play the game just fine now, as long as I use the right mouse button for everything -.- |

| Dismantle your mouse, using any available resources, being careful not to damage the mouse. Remove the switches under the left and right buttons. Now, but the left button in the right housing, and the right button in the left housing. Re-assemble your mouse, and enjoy RE5. |

or possibly just get a pc controller? and pretend its on a console? Well, for that you could also use any of the current consoles' controllers. |

| Microsoft XBOX 360 Wired Controller or Microsoft 3D Game Controller (same thing but for PC wired or wireless)
Those should do the trick. |

| There's also Joy2Key and MotionJoy Gamepad tool if you're using PS3 controllers. There might also be various other drivers for them available.
For Wii controllers you'd need to get a 3rd party bluetooth device so that propably isn't worth it. |
