| It's great and has the classical RE gameplay style (what REs have you played?) with some interesting tweaks. The Outbreaks are the hardest REs though. They also have a lot of interesting enemies and memorable locations.
It's fun how you can use brooms, pipes, etc. as a weapon, a lot like in the Silent Hill series. |

| The AI controlled players are somewhat stupid at times, but it won't hinder your gameplay too much. Being able to drop items or give them to teammates makes item organization alot better and easier than the others in the series. There is also a ton of unlockables including music, pictures and making NPC characters playable. Also the mini-games are fun as well. It's mostly a game that some people love and others hate. If you are able to find a PS2 Action Replay I'd suggest buying it as it unlocks characters that were planned for Outbreak File 3 that was never released. |

| I dont think Outbreak is all that great...the AI is very weak and the load times are dumb...the only good thing the games have are great locations and sountracks...I do think File 2 is better though |

| Oh yeah I forgot about the load times. Opening a door in File#1 takes forever. Thank God they were cut in the second game. |

| I like File 1 a lot. I play on Easy, but its still horrifying and extremely fun. The crappy save system actually adds to the scares, since, if you die, you have to restart the scenario. I love this system, since it really gives you a feeling of life and death.
Although File 2 has a lot more bonuses. It has 5 more Scenarios, you can select your partners, and save at Typewriters and actually save your data, rather than just providing an opprotunity to leave if you want to. |

| I found the bot players to be fun to play with. They add nicely to your item management and can sometimes even be useful. They make the game different, that's what I'm trying to say. |

| And if you hate the bots I believe if you beat the game you unlock "lonewolf" mode so you can play through without them if you want |

| Tons of fun. One of my favorites. Raccoon City was definately the best location in the entire series, and whenever we get to go back, even if just for a few scenarios is always a good time.
Excellent music and presentation with the scenes as well. |

The first thing I checked was the post count, and I also hope that nobody passes me either. |
