| Thanx ya'll.
I remember when RE first came out. At the time I was impressed with Tekken on the Playstation, but still couldn't accept Sony. I loved my NES & SNES. The idea of not going N64 was hard to swallow. Resident Evil changed my mind. Glad I discovered it, because N64 is one of the lamest systems ever made.
Resident Evil was the 1st & only game (that I can think of) that ever made me jump out of my chair. The first time that Zombie on the floor grabbed my leg & the 1st time the dogs jumped through the window.
I loved RE 1. I liked RE 2, but honestly my expectations were too high. The shock factor was gone. In retrospect I can say it was an awesome game. By that time my interest in RE was waning. I never played 3. I think about checking it out now, but figure it's too outdated. As much as I loved RE 1 back in the day it would be a chore to play today. I was geeked about Code Veronica as it was the 1st RE on PS2. Unfortunately I thought it was really lame. I was very disapointed in that game. I was expecing that game to take the series in an improved direction. Instead it felt flat. I didn't play RE again until 4. Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games. I can't say enough about how much I love that game. After 4 I decided to give Outbreak a chance. Outbreak had some cool concept ideas, but they were executed so poorly I found the game unplayable. I didn't like Reident Evil 5. If you want to know why then check out the RE 5 thread, cause I already explained why.
Thanx again for da kind welcome. |

Dang right, only two good games, Kirby 64 and SSB...RE2 was bad, in a bad way. >.> <.< Well in any case, I welcome you to this forums, and I hope that your stay is enjoyable. |

| Goldeneye was great back in the day, but has aged so poorly I can't play it today. Didn't get into Mario 64, though I liked the NES & SNES ones. Didn't like DKC on SNES so I doubt I'd like 64's. I loved Mario Kart on SNES, but didn't get into it on 64. I heard Perfect Dark was great, but never played it.
I bought the 64 dirt cheap once the PS2 was out. I only got it to play Ogre Battle 64 (which wasn't as good as the SNES version by the way).
There's some sort of card that actually improves the 64's graphics. I know one of the Zelda games actually requires it. I've been planning on getting one & giving the 64 another chance. They're expensive & I've been looking for a good price on ebay. So far no luck. |

As for Zelda requiring anything extra, I don't recall it. Any Zelda. |

| It shouldn't matter how well the game has aged... As far as it's fun and has a great story to tell. |
