I own a 360 only because i got it cheap and I really needed to upgrade to next gen gaming...once I get a PS3 the 360 will be pushed aside since I will always be a Playstation guy by heart

Haha. I love how every single Xbox fan EVER says nothing but "But we have Gears and Halo." Gears is Halo in third person. Halo is Gears in first person. I just don't understand how anyone can stay satisfied with so little. Not to mention every new iteration of Halo and Gears is basically just a slight update. Just like the CoD games.

I like how we now have two pages now that have gone off topic in order to argue the finer points of the xBox vs PS3 debate. If it's that big a deal, I'd create a new topic, although I vaguely recall one already existing.

Now hold on just a moment.... Not once did I trash talk a PS3. I have said before, I will buy systems based on where Resident Evil goes. At the time I was up in the air on a PS3 or a 360, Xbox just had more to offer me when RE5 came out with the Resident Evil Limited Edition. I have owned a 360 in the past and it red ringed on me so I seriously considered the PS3 but the LE RE5 360 sold me. I didn't mention Gears and Halo as a reason the 360 was superior.... Hell, I never even hinted that either system was superior to the other. I simply said that I am happy with my 360. Personally, Halo and Halo 2 had one of the best storylines I have encountered, granted, that started slipping with Halo 3. Gears of War.... I just don't see how anyone could not get into that story or that game. I am not one to get into system war arguments so I won't. I simply stated that I chose the 360 and am happy with the decision Halo and Gears are just bonuses to me. I won't knock anyone who has a PS3 cause if I had the money to burn I would for sure own both, but having two kids does not allow me the luxury of spending that much money on what is ultimately a non essential item. I had to choose one or the other and am happy with the choice I made.

Don't worry, I wasn't trying to imply that you were trashing the PS3. It's just that you saying that reminded me of all the times I heard it from people who really were using it as a reason the 360 was better lol. What I said was directed at them, not you. Sorry I didn't clarify. Now, I'm going to go ahead and make a new topic for this discussion so we can keep this one on track.
