Co-op cames

Could someone tell me about any good games with a co-op mode for the main game (or some kind of 2p campaign) on the same console? The only ones I know (and have) are Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, Resident Evil 5 and Army of Two. And I mean newer games, because I know that there were lots of games with co-op possibility on the NES and others (like Contra nad Smash TV). I also know that you could play GTA:SA with a friend but I'm not sure if you could do missions... And I'm not looking for sidescrollers like Metal Slug (I have the Anthology)
That was a lot of criteria but tell me, I really like to play that kind of games with my friends

they need to make a devil may cry with co-op i know that for sure, left for dead is awesome on 360 online

Split screen is unjustly dead. I think it should be mandatory to at least have the option for all multiplayer games. I mean...come on!

I prefer PS myself but I wanted to get a Xbox just for the halo games and a few others

lol...I just got an Xbox for the Halo games...I am a PS guy by default

Bringing an old topic back, now with RE6 and it's co-operative campaigns coming up.


I'm also pretty interested in the upcoming third Army of Two game.

Uncharted 3 has co-op in multiplayer but not story mode
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is also good co-op .
i'll be getting RE 6 but i'm going solo till i'm ready for Pro ^^

I wouldn't mind playing Army of Two with you Mass, me and my brother played some of that. But he has common sense of something unpleasant (too lazy to write anything witty).

But at any rate, I did enjoy the last Army of Two more than the first. I just don't like the new guys for the next one, I mean I think their names are Alpha and Bravo? Really lame names compared to Rios and Salem. I liked those guys. Especially since Salem was voiced by Deadpool in the second game. Alpha and Bravo just sounds too boring.

The downside to me playing Co-Op with anyone in Army of Two: The 40th Day, is that I take long to decide. That's partly my brother's fault because he looks at me all serious and says:

"Choose wisely, he could die, he could live. Choose wisely."

If I decide one thing, something bad happens to that dude or whatever. Then it just fudges up my whole day.

Ahahah, I played it twice with my brother just to see all the outcomes XD

The main reason I stopped playing it with my brother is because he knows I forget what happens until after I choose a decision. Then he get's pissed off too, because he doesn't pay attention to what I choose due to hurrying me up.

Awe, that sucks. I mean it really doesnt affect the core game..

I love coop games. There isn't enough of them. I have spent some time playing LoZ: Four Swords Adventures with my sister. It's fun. I would like all future RE games to be coop. I know there are some on this forum who are not fans. It might be nice to have the option to play a campaign without a partner. But to not have the option for coop is silly. My sister has a 3ds, but I am too poor to buy Revelations.

anyone play RE 5 for PC?

Not me, not Mass either- Actually there's only like 2-3 people who play RE5 on PC.

Here are some good one's (Most of these are PC only)

Synergy- It' s a mod for Half life 2 where you can play the whole of the Half life 2 campaign with 3 other friends.

DayZ- Nuff said is really fun with friends.

Cry of fear- For a co-op game it's quite scary.

I play the majority of games on my PC and have RE 5+ Operation Raccoon City on it

Mass has DayZ- now for me and some people to play it with him :{

Also, if you play RE5 on PC, you might want to speak to Prince of Judah- he'd want to play Co-Op with you.

I have DayZ it's one of the better games I've played this year. Really gives you an opportunity to be a massive dick to people. Also I've played RE 5 to death both on console and PC so I don't really play it much anymore.
